i've seen a few postings of a possible "next date" for dubs of 2034. based on an article they published comparing the last days to the days of noah.
preaching for 120 years.
however, i noticed a little tidbit from wiki about age:.
I think I am older than all of you, certainly the most. So I don't look forward to 2034. I don't dare hope for so much but I am blissfully happy to hear at least most youth are leaving. I am happy to see Internet with sites galore exposing the WTS and hearing of the 'drain' happening, and baptisms decreasing. I do hope to watch its decline as long as I live. I stand back and enjoying the fragmentation of the WTS like this:

Just before noon, 20 boys and girls, seemingly between the ages of 12 and 16, and three adults baptized
That's .4% ratio to attendance. 86% were their youth.

thank you, problemaddict, I should have asked you at the time, but certainly appreciate you verifying it was you.
I hope to utilize this thread for any of these reports. Any willing to report here, would appreciate. If you want me to report it, because of anonymous concerns, please PM me.
When the WTS is claiming publishers are increasing (lowering their bar requirement), yet clearly baptisms decreasing, something is happening negatively for them.

One poster here informed me on my PM: I believe it was just over 180 (that combines both english and spanish. Attendance was a combined 26K on friday to 34K on sunday. This was of convention in San Diego. Believe it or not the attendance and the baptisms were split almost down the middle (I didn't ask permission to use his name)
Dividing 180 by 34,000 - .5% (this is still a low percentage).

I sent a PM to that poster asking if he can get that attendance number from his source that was at Brooklyn convention.
so i was talking to a substitute co, he and his wife recently returned from "the school for christian couples" .
anyways this couple has delayed having children in hopes of entering the circuit work, and have been sub coing for a couple years.
they both have well paying, good jobs.
Really, the WTS just needs "trouble-shooters" (and for free) now. This School mainly is to control problems in existing areas where there are already JWs. The old Gilead no longer a priority.
The WTS has to 'down-size' one way or another. There's no "new zeal" existing anywhere (at least in 1st world countries). Long-timers getting ill, slowing down. Printing demand down-sized.
Volunteers, that can, are just wasting energy, vainly holding up a crumbling organization.

On Sat we had about 9 or 10 new ones that symbolized their dedication by water baptism.
