Wow,,I am so happy for you! This is a wonderful 'miracle' for you! So glad when both husband and wife can stand by each other and 'weather' the storm leaving JWs.

by Crazyguy infirst i made love to my wife, maybe i'm better in bed then i thought, because about an hour after that my wife comes back in and i'm sitting at my desk and i asked her, "when the elders df me are you going to leave me, spiritual endangerment and all" she said, no, i don't feel endangered and we talked awhile and i talked about da ing and not sure what to do, then i shared with her a toned down version of the da letter that i posted and that led to her asking about my beliefs and understandings of who the great crowd and 144k, heaven and earthly hopes.
i was even able to tell her how they changed or distorted the meaning of the word naos to show the great crowd not in heaven.
i was able to show her some of the scriptures from the da letter, able to tell her a little about 1914 and how jesus did'nt invisably come in a presence, showing her scriptures on that and some more ttatt.

Jamaican Branch Office Closing

if there are other jamaicans here, feel free to let me know.. with that said, it was announced at our last meeting (a letter was read) that the branch office (bethel) in kingston would be closing, and affairs would soon be directed from us hq.
now the branch office here is a large compound built on acres of prime real estate.

2012 Service Year Report showed 96 Branches. Near a 20% reduction from a few years ago. I expect these to continue to reduce. "WIKI" reports the WTS has "30 Zones." Not sure what that means totally. Maybe a "Corporate" term in their International business?? I think the HQ doesn't need "branches" anymore, or can't or won't "support" them.

had this conversion with my dad earlier today, hes an elder...both my parents were laid off during the recession, however, they saved and lived a decent life.

My first set of Christmas Decor with pictures
by confusedandalone inalthough we are not close to done yet i wanted to put up some pics of what we are doing over at the caa home.
it is lots of fun putting this stufff up and the kids love it.
the wife is in heaven because she always loved christmas time because as a kid it was something she totally enjoyed.

Three years of extra madness! Will the locals survive it? This is on top of their own bills, families and regular local demands? It will be interesting to watch this! Sounds like potential frenzy. However, the WTS is a master at driving their volunteers hard with guilt manipulation and organizational skills as long as people don't question.

Isn't it a 'mission' by most people, or at least something to be 'respected' by most is to: love, joy and peace. Plaques/banners are everywhere on those. Each one of those should be believed in , but are up to each person to find the plenty of ways.
Plenty of busy-ness on 'love.' Love our neighbor 'as ourselves.' 'Ourselves,' yes, our health, 'exercise,' eating healthfully. Isn't there a "good deed for the day" to do. A mission. Help someone, certainly there are eons of services or causes.
'Peace.' A peaceful manner / inner and toward others, should keep us plenty busy.
'Joy.' Unfortunately, the WT zapped/destroys that right out of us, when there are so many, many ways to find joy, reading a book, watching a great movie or documentary, a trip (even just a daily or local trip, an outing).
There is a grand variety of things to believe in, not a one size fits all fakeness, but for every individual in his way.

Just found out my friend's son is dating a witness.

her mom is disfellowshipped, trying to get reinstated.
i found out from a non-witness friend of mine that my friend's son has already bought a ring for this girl and is planning on becoming a witness for her.

The "love-bombing" may help him temporarily, but one slip-up and they will turn on him and they will be inadequate to help him. They don't have programs to help ones like this.
