last night while i was at work, my mom came to get the kids to spend the weekend with her.
then chris calls me at work and asks if i will come see him after work.
i go to his house, end up spending the night.
here in the US Pacific North West (Tacoma WA) it is about 33 outside right now,,, and all most 80 in the boat. (Ilive aboard a boat here) and I am very greatful for the warmth. Cold and I do not get along,,, lol. As the boat sits in the water which is about 50F all year round, I use the cooler air from the bottom rooms to cool the upper rooms. And when i use the heat, I use the same blower system to send the warmer air down to the lower rooms. Works very well. *S* I use wood heat sometimes, and mostly the diesel furnace. For the cooking and dryer and hot water I use propane.
Yes it is romantic living on a boat,,, till it is stormy and yah need to take the little shore boat in to get groceries of other needs,,, then it is a real adventure at times. LOL The boat is too big to tie to the regular marina docks, so I have it out on what is called the breakwater. Minimal power and I have to run my own phone line underwater for the computer link, but it is VERY private out here.

this is really sort of a response to another post about religious authority.. does member have a copy of the mcclintock strongs?.
if anyone does, would you please look up and reproduce here the entry under "authority"?.
a friend of mine (now ex, for the reason you would expect) had a copy of m&s and the entry under authority was very interesing indeed.
Often it is what is "missing" in writings about the bible and what it says and means through out history that attracts my attention!
Like no mention of the Saints (Anointed),, hmmmmmmmmm ?

history is at a great turning point.
Besides nuclear bombs, we can even call fire down out of the very heavens. Space launched weapons. But we still can't defend our own planet! Man was stopped from going to the heavens (stars) once before at the Tower of Babel.
The preservation of the human race makes it IMPARITIVE we get off this planet and into space! But will that be allowed?

i have a question from the book of john.
john is asked if he is the christ, he replies no, then he is asked if he is the prophet, he replies no.
If you are thinking of the 2 witness of Rev, the only cross reference to that is in the old KJV of 1611. It crosses over to the passage in 2nd Esdras about 2 prophits to help and names them.
Most deep researchers that i have enjoyed talking with think that there will be an "Elijah like one" as was John the Dunker, and 2 others to stand up as the 2 witnesses.

in this post, i will explain how marks story of jesus miraculous feeding of the five thousand (mark 6:32-42) was copied from scripture.. at the beginning of his story, mark wants his readers to believe that his jesus is just as compassionate as the lord, so he introduces him as a person who was just as concerned as the lord is for people who are like sheep without a shepherd.
the lord is my shepherd, i shall not be in want.

The bible is a book of history, current events, and the destiny of the human race. If you really want to go to the stars (heavens) then you need to understand that the message of how is wrote in languages that are at least 2000years old and had very little tech understanding as we do today. Try to understand it from a very modern and possibly futuristic point of view.
Get a clue,,,, grins.
In other words, go back in time a try to describe a space shuttle launch to the people of Jesus's day! Or that we live in the heavens!
