Yes i think this is another one of the JW's control tools. To be labelled as an 'Apostate' in some ways is worse that being disfellowshipped/dissasociated. Its an effective means of 'Tarring & feathering' you if you become what they consider a threat to the Organisation. I must admit i had never even heard of the word 'Apostate' before i joined the JW Org and very rarely hear it being mentioned elsewhere and i think this might be true in a lot of peoples cases. Because of this i think the JW Org sort of adopts this word and adds its own flavour to it to give it its own special potency to which it can then use for its own manipulative purposes.

Do people's ignorance about their own religion (when they insist and believe it is the ONLY TRUE religion) indicate unwillingness to face falsifiability? Or, are they intellectually dishonest? Or, are they mentally lazy and merely complacent?

In some people's cases your above queries may be true, but lets not forget that the WBTS tries to keep matters such as those in your 'Trivia Test' quiet. For example in my case i have only been left the Org for about 18 Months and i have learned more about the Org's history in that time (from my own research) than i did in the 6 years i was an active member. So it seems to me that while the active members are insisting that the Org teaches nothing but the truth they are totally unaware of all the WBTS's skeletons in the cupboard and its only when they leave when they find out the REAL TRUTH about the WBTS.

the society has made the claim that only those of the 144,000 are christ's brothers and that by doing good to "them", others would be judged as fit for life.

who really is christ's brothers according to the words of jesus himself?

Yes 'Blondie' pointed out the WBTS explanation for this, but to me this seems to rather stretch the meaning of the word 'Brother' a bit. Much to their own convenience of course.

God's Organization Has Needed Adjusting

had many flaws , but God did not abandon them.

There is a difference here:

The flaws of the Nation of Israel were in its behaviour & attitude towards their God but in terms of its teachings not one letter of the Law was ever adjusted or changed in any way by any member, any King not even Moses throughout the Law's duration. This is in sharp contrast to the JW's who throughout their history from its inception by CT Russell it has continously altered its beliefs & teachings not to mention its many false prophecies.

Question: If the JW religion is supposedly 'Gods Spirit Directed Organisation' why would he allow it to make so many errors in this way?

have biblical apologists satisfactorily explained the blood-drenched biblical passages in which jehovah orders his people to wipe out every living soul - young, old, men, women, child, infirm - in the territory they're told to invade?.

who needs bin laden when you've got jehovah?

or is jehovah excused because he's truly mightier, like, because he's the creator he can call the shots, no matter how much and who's blood is shed?

Its a shame that God dealt with people who he didn't approve of like this (if the biblical stories are true). Because i think a lot of religious people today use the Old Testament accounts as an excuse or justification for their Hate filled behaviour.

Yes i had several opportunities to have relationships with 'worldly' women, but because of the WTS policy on 'only marry in the lord' i had to resist the natural urge on every occasion. This i thoroughly regret because i didn't meet a woman in the truth either. Yes they DID cost me.

i'd say about 5 percent know about the jw's and their message.. i'm not talking about how many countries they are preaching in, but really, how many people out of the 6 or 7 billion on earth, ever heard about them and saw them at their door preaching..

Well i'm not sure about other countries (particularly developing ones) but here in England i'd say most people have heard of the JW's here?!?!
