I LOATHE smoking.
I love pets but I hate it when you walk into a house and all you can smell are the animals.
Same.
well i just got back from the memorial, after being dragged along somewhat reluctantly.
during the talk, one statement in particular caught my attention which i hadn't heard previously.
the speaker was explaining why probably no-one there should be partaking of the matzo and wine, because on the night of the passover jesus began selecting his 144000 heavenly co-rulers starting with the 11 apostles who were present - and that from then on, most of jesus' other followers just observed and did not partake, recognizing that they were of the earthly class.
Please post full outline, as this js the first year I'm not going, since 1967
If I get it I'll post it (provided I find out how to do it )

*** it-2p.270Lord’sEveningMeal***
Partakers andOtherAttendersattheMeal. Jesus had gathered his 12 apostles, saying to them: “I have greatly desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer.” (Lu 22:15) But John’s eyewitness account indicates that Jesus dismissed the traitorous Judas before instituting the Memorial meal. During the Passover, Jesus, knowing that Judas was his betrayer, dipped a morsel of the Passover meal and handed it to Judas, instructing him to leave. (Joh 13:21-30) Mark’s account also intimates this order of events. (Mr 14:12-25) During the Lord’s Evening Meal that followed, Jesus passed the bread and the wine to the 11 remaining apostles, telling them to eat and drink. (Lu 22:19, 20) Afterward he spoke to them as “the ones that have stuck with me in my trials,” a further indication that Judas had been dismissed.—Lu 22:28.
the book study overseer hasn't asked why i won't come to the bookstudy, he gets .
be the month i stopped going to the k.h.
not going this week than it was about missing other meetings.. i told her that i would not be going to the meetings at all anymore.
Truth-be-told, I would be closed to them, but they
actually never tried to open a discussion. If they would just try, I would give them the excuse they need to
stop trying again.
OTWO, any particular reason why you do not want to help them to see the truth about the truth?
i want to see if i imagined it!.
mad.
no, the talk sounded very much like last year.
has anyone ever heard of someone being dfd for celebrating their or their childrens birthday???.
(my first post- took a lot to work up the courage- i'll tell more details later).
I do not think you would get disfellowshipped for celebrating it once. you could if your start claiming that your will always celebrate it as the Bible does not clearly condemn it and you start going around advertising it and saying that it is a conscience matter, etc... as jwfacts said is very much a matter of your attitude.
I agree when he says to play innocent (but here it depends for how long you have been studying, if you are a long time jw it would be rather difficult to support this argument ;) )
my country had theirs last nite.
any new points in the talk or anything interesting you care to report?
(doubt it)
This year we had silence during the passing.
we too, but I guess it was coincidence as the outline (till last year) did say you may speak or remain silent during passing of the emblems. as soon as I see this year's outline I'll let you know if any changes (from the talk I guess that if there were any they weren't major).

I should get the outline later this week. I'll let you know if there is anything of that sort in it.
comments you will not hear at the 04-01-07 wt study (february 15, 2007, pages 18-22)(respect husband).
review comments will be in red.
wt material from today's wt will be in black.
thanks blondie. really a bad article, with just one interesting passage in paragraph 6
One writer noted: "The more we want to do something--whether it is to marry or scale a particular mountain--the more likely we are to make unchecked assumptions and pay attention only to the data that tells us what we want to hear." An irrational decision for a mountain climber may cost him his life; an unwise choice of a marriage mate can likewise be disastrous.
isn't that the way jw normally act?
