i just wondered if anyone knows the answer , and if numbers are those numbers mainly in poor countries where there is no internet access ?

also are other religions like catholics and born agains also increasing ?

he remembrs being taught that the love of the greater number would fall but dubbys would increase at the end ..

i dont have the wt cd, so will need help on the references.. do you remember how the borg originally said that acupunture was demonic, as it posited unproven theories as to how it worked?.

so for many years, a jw would not take acupuncture treatments, if they were truly faithful.. then (and note this well) an article came out, where the writer told us about his experiences of acupuncture, and how it helped him.. in the interim no statement rescinding the previous view of acupuncture as wrong had been published by the society.. in other words, they printed an article showing that a jw had gone against current "light".. the same thing happened with kidney dialysis.. one minute the wtbts says it is wrong, then an article comes out about a co wife who had a home dialysis machine - again with no printed article cancelling the previous "light".. are they stupid, or is somebody telling us to do what we think is right?.

The WTS has so many articles about so many topics all piled up in a huge heap that when one writes a new article it is almost impossible to not contradict a previous article.

This is because their literature is Spirit Directed. (lots and lots of booze drinking going on.)

jwbrothers site under maintenance? or is it the April KM?

for some days the web site www.jwbrothers.org is under maintenance, when i saw the april km at my in-laws place i noticed the article about circulating talks and web site s that distribute them.

do you think it is a coincident or do you think they give in.. the article said that old talks would be taken out of context if you did not know why some things where said.. like a governing body member saying that if you could you should pick up a copy of "angels and woman".

This is why we know the WTS is not really interested in "spreading the good news" or the "preaching work". If they were, not only would they allow independent web pages, they would actually setup a program that encouraged and aided such web pages.

The WTS is not interested in the preaching work. They are interested in control and power.

I'm afraid that the question is oversimplifying what is at issue... specifically Eternity.

Eternity, or Forever is a very long time! The vast majority of people never really stop and think about what the consequences of eternity would be.

Think of it this way: With the known laws of quantum physics, it is possible for a particle to pop into existence out of nowhere. It is also possible for an existing particle to vanish from where it is and instantaneously reappear on the other side of the universe... for no reason what so ever. It just happens to random particles at random times.

Particles are popping into and out of existence all around you right now. Every once in awhile one of those particles will not vanish. It stays here in our universe. Given enough time multiple particles will pop into existence near each other and form an atom. Given even more time more particles will pop into existence to form a molecule.

As trillions of trillions of years pass, the laws of probability INSIST that EVENTUALLY a cat will appear out of nowhere right in front of you.

As trillions of trillions of years pass, the laws of probability INSIST that EVENTUALLY an exact duplicate of yourself... as you were at the age of 12... will pop into existence in front of you.

... and then a purple unicorn.

... and then a perfect duplicate of the earth as it existed in 1492... allowing you to watch Columbus land in America for the first time. (Yes... eternity creates time machines.)

My point is this: When you bring an infinity into any equation, very odd things start to happen. Because of this one must question whether or not eternity could possibly even exist. If an eternity were to occur, it would mean that anything and everything that could possibly every happen... WILL HAPPEN... and it will happen over and over again for all eternity.

That's just BIZARRE!
