I'm not one much for car decals, but I saw this on someone's car in front of me during my commute and felt that it suited me.
I think some posters here would appreciate the meaning.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
in the field service, i never rang the door bell.
i would knock all the time, because a person could be working midnight to eight and i could wake them up.
ok, the real reason was that i didn't want them to answer the door.. and i would knock like this: "knock knock knock".......then i'd wait about 30 seconds and then another "knock knock knock" but not any harder...and i'd walk away with contentment.
If they looked like they were home I would knock.
If the house looked empty I would knock, then ring the bell then ring the bell again when I was sure nobody was home.
The longer I spent at an empty house meant the less I had to talk to people.
hillary_step, nvrgnbk, superfine apostle, and others that have helped me so much.
they said i would be an atheist within two years, but my metamorphosis has happened virtually overnight.

your organization has always been intently focused on "witnessing" and this includes going right up to strangers homes, knocking on their door attempting to engage them in a discussion of their beliefs.
you come prepared to point out the error of whatever faith they hold.
doctrines such as immortality of the soul, the trinity and eternal torment in hell you declare as false teachings and can back up your assertions with scriptures and skilled argument.
Hi yourmomma, welcome to the boards.
Keep in mind, that just as all witnesses aren't robots tied to the will of the Governing body, not all ex-witnesses will respect a request for fair interchange. Saddly I can almost assure you that you will get some flack from some members here, but hope that you can realize that they don't represent the majority of the posters here.

WELCOME!
so i read everyone's posts and get to know the screen names of all of you on jwd and have this picture in my head of what those of you who dont have real photos of yourselves as avatars, and i wonder how wrong i would be if i were to meet any of you in person... so my question is this - what do you think i look like?
I more often scan posts than read and sometimes my mind will alter a phrase if it doesn't quickly understand the meaning.
As such, when I first saw your username I read it as "Princess Dairy Moo". Since that time I picture you as a dairy cow wearing a straw hat with flower in it.
Not flattering, I know, but that's the truth. :D
greetings, friends:.
i recently put up a thread entitled "when can i comment?
" new to the thought process of critical thinking, i have felt overwhelmed by the wealth of information now available to a mind opened up to society-banned material.
I term myself as an agnostic because I cannot say with any certainty that there is no cosmic intelligence.
That said, I completely reject the notion of a personal God that created humans and the earth and is keenly interested in our servitude.
For me it was the quest for knowledge. Most notably astronomy and astrophysics. When you step back and look at the whole universe, then reread religious books you see how ignorant the writers were.
Finding the holy books of old tainted, it was easy for me to reject the idea of a personal God.
Still, looking at how much and how little we know about our planet and universe, I am deeply humbled that I lack the ability to ever understand even the smallest fraction of it. But my acknowledgment of my own ignorance does not create the necessity of there being a God for me as it does in others.
I am content that I am alive now and realize that while I may never understand the secrets of the universe, if I work towards it I will at least be part of a massive movement spanning thousands of years to come.
It is somewhat depressing to think that I will not be around to see the new breakthroughs, but no amount of wishful thinking will create a heaven for me if one does not already exist. I've conceded to myself that I will die one day, the laughable reality is that if there does end up being a hell, it will end up being a far greater alternative to my current belief. In hell, at least I would still be alive. :D
friends and classmates of a 16-year-old girl who police say was murdered by her devout muslim father in a toronto suburb told local media tuesday she was killed for not wearing a hijab.
police said in a statement they received an emergency call at 7:55 am local time monday from "a man who indicated that he had just killed his daughter.
the victim, aqsa parvez, was "rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries, but tragically passed away late last night.
While it is correct that certain muslims made large advances into science, most notably into the field of math, that changed over the years.
The prophet did not like the arts, that is music and dancing. He felt that paintings and sculptures were a form of idolatry. Eventually this intollerance spilled over into science, that is, being haughty enough in one's own ability to understand the workings of Allah.
Science died out.
Currently there is a reason why most countries run by Islamic law are in a state of turmoil. It is a religion for the poor and the rich.
The rich stand on the backs of the poor and get richer. The poor focus on serving Allah so that they will be rich after they die. Master and servant.
My biggest beef with Islam is that it is more a political movement than religious. The mandate is to spread Shari law across all the earth and crush any that oppose it.
There are moderates, but those are ones that are ignoring part of their own beliefs. The Quran and the Hadiths do not allow for moderate Islam.
There are many good Muslims, but they are good in spite of Islam, not because of it.
can you expand on the permafrost thing?
i must have missed this scientific wonder of spiritual food.
permafrost is in areas where the ground stays at or below the freezing mark.
Plants cannot grow in permafrost. So the seeds of "the truth" cannot take root in the mind of someone who's brain is in a permafrost state ie. normal.
i believe that under some circumstances eating fruit should be punished with death.. .
i believe it's perfectly valid to not only punish the bad bad fruit-eater, but also all his descendants.
i believe that death penalty is a form of love.. .
when I fall in love it will be forever
it's usually announced by the time of the january km at the latest.
anyone know why it hasn't been released this year?
