most religious views of homosexuality and intersex individuals if one of the major reasons why i am an athiest now (of course with all the contradictions of the bible and other books, etc.).
I believe in cases where they have both genitals they have to pick a gender at baptism and stick with it.

i am infp.. some former witnesses in my hometown had a meetup last night...alas, only four of us.
but it turned out we had an infp(me), two infjs, and an enfp.
therefore, it turned out we were all idealists.
Hmm... doesnt seem like there are too many INTP's here...
One thing to factor in, is that certain personality types don't like these types of tests and wouldn't bother checking it out. I'm not sure if INTP is one or not.

The WWE used to use the WWF title under license from the Wildlife fund. As wrestling become more campy the fund decided to distance themselves from what they saw as bad publicity and recinded the license. The wrestling company rebranded as the WWE.

judge joe rutherford.. rutherford served for awhile as a prosecutor in a district attorney's office.. his view of "getting the job done" consisted of hammering away at an "enemy" with a litany of bullet points.. his theological mindset was hardly any different!.
look at the legal terms that seeped in to jw everyday parlance.. .
If I recall, rutherford sat as a substitude judge for a single case. After that he insisted everyone refer to him as Judge.
Much like a receiving an honorary doctorate and insisting people call you Doctor.

so i talked to my dear aunt who is disfellowshipped but still has to interact with my elderly jw witness and masquerading jw aunt (really doesn't agree with the jw doctrine, but lives with my grandmother to take care of her) and she told me that there are now two watchtowers published, one that they use for congregation and the other for their "field service".. why do you suppose they are really doing that?
is it because they are trying to keep things from the public eyes?

A small part of the reasoning, I figure is to cloud their minds.
The public editions are very colorful, meant to capture your attention and trigger an emotion or feeling. The down point to this, is that they are very memorable.
The study edition is bland by comparisson.
If you remember an article saying something conflicting, it's harder to map it in your mind to which article it is in. Was it the teal study edition? aquamarine?
In all, it gets blended together in their memory and they just focus on what the newest one says.

Nope, can you give me a quick crash course? I suspect there's a whole load of stuff about this site's past that I'm oblivious to.
You should have been here when Rick unveiled his first Six Screens website. He tried this massive build up to the website that had special information that was going to bring down the Watchtower.
It was very interesting at the time, we wondered it if was some more leaked documents from the legal department or such.
When it was finally released it was a disaster. The website was put together like cheesy B-grade horror movie and just featured six videos of himself "exposing" the watchtower using material found on many ex-witness sites. It was painful on the eyes.

While a few applauded him for taking the Watchtower on, most of JWD just did a facepalm and it went downhill from there.

I took the test while a witness and scored ENFP.
Since leaving I have taken the test many times and have always scored INFP.
Much the same as others have posted, I am quite fine in a large group and can be outgoing. But for me, recharging requires quiet and peace. I think that introverts of the world somehow got cast as weak or shy.
I'm a proud and vocal introvert.

had a good laugh at arrogant prick do last talk saying apostates are to be "loathed" and used a scripture in psalms that simply had the word "loathe" in it to support his weak point.
im gonna happen by him tomorrow and tell him his final talk had such an impact on me i tore out proverbs, ecclesiastes, and song of solomon out of my bible cause those books were written by an apostate.
Apostates are becoming more of a focus in their articles.
I don't mind that, it means that we are having an increasing impact on them. It also makes us the forbidden fruit and we know how well that worked for God in Eden.
