Are you still scared of Jehovah?
by MsMcDucket ini remember the watchtower organization having me so scared of jehovah that i was getting paranoid.
i kept thinking he was watching me no matter where i was at.
i wouldn't dare say anything bad against the organization because jehovah was listening to me.

Knocking on Doors on Holidays
by Medic!? indid anyone else's congregation "strongly encourage" this practice?
when i was a worshiping rusell.... jehovah.
i felt sick to my stomach and disgusted that these people had absolutely no consideration for the beliefs or practices of others.

What do you do when JW's talk to you???
by noni1974 ini usually tell them i'm da.i tend to feel like it's my way of respecting their belief that way.when i was a dub i wouldn't have wanted to talk to a df or da ed person.i was at a family wedding a couple of weeks ago and lots of people came up and said hi to me.people who know who i am and know i'm da ed.i was polite and said hi back but i didn't really talk to anyone unless they talked to me first.i'm asking this question because my second cousin came up to me and said hi.he asked how i was doing i said i'm great.then i told him i'm da ed.he said really i said yes it's been 8 happy years since i left.then i walked away.i think i was rude.what do you say when people come up to you and say hi?

MySpace is dying...
by Shaolu inlately i've noticed more and more jw groups on myspace seem to be disappearing and losing members.
at first i egotistically thought might have something to do with my efforts (i sometimes suffer from delusions of grandeur).
however, a couple posts came to my attention on two of the private jw groups.... .

Demonic expereiences
by Tyrone van leyen inall bs and religion aside we've all heard the demon stories of the witnesses but has anyone actually had an personal experience such that you can't explain with your rational mind that shocked you and may lend credence to the possibility of something paranormal.
not something hyped, or emotional, but something your gut told you is just couldn't happen and did?

When I lived in South Africa with my parents we were living in a house that was really haunted. We would clean the kitchen and push in the chairs to the table and turn out the lights. Few min later you would hear chairs being pulled out. We would go to the kitchen and the lights were on, all the chairs were out and sometimes they were on top of the table. Sometimes the fridge door would open on its own and would make werid beeping noises. And when i would sleep at night my door to my bedroom would open and the lights would come on and then off and the door would shut, put no living human had entred my room. After my grandmother passed i would go to her house and I swear i still saw here in the kitchen watching me playing with the pots and pans. I am a firm believer in ghosts or spirits or whatever wacky stuff was going on.
Have any of you seen Celebrity Paranormal the tv show?

Guess what happened with the new CO?
by MinisterAmos ini'm not particularly fond of the way that the bros fawn over the ranking members when they visit.
after all, there is no rank in the jws right?
that's what they say anyway.. so i rebel and don't go at all when the co or do come to visit.
