i'm still up early hours in the morning, because i'.
so upset with what my mum said to me on the phone today.
she told me she got the sack a week ago because her boss didn't agree with my mum being a jehovah's witness and that she lets 'children die' because of the no blood rules.
PS the number for ACAS is 08457474747 and this service is free as will representation of your mum if they believe she has a case.
Good Luck

Chaz.....I have to say I am skeptical about your post........but if it is genuine please forgive me because I do know quite a lot about British Employment law for various reasons.
How long has she been employed?
Whatever the answer she or you needs to contact ACAS as soon as possible.
She has an absolute case for unfair dismissal.
Dont be heartbroken......start helping her and yourself to take action in a positive way.
Employers CANNOT sack her for her religious belief's........it is a huge No No.
Fi
thought we could all use a bit of a lighter humorous subject to start our weeks up a bit easier .
so what weird or off beat, funny experiences have happened to you in your past or recently that was comical, funny or just bizarre ?
would like to hear from you.
I once was had arranged to meet someone for a lift to work in their car.......came poddling down the road and saw them parked across the other side of a main road just down from the traffic lights........so I crossed the road and noticed they had pulled up to the now red light and so I opened the back door and jumped in..........ooooops.......wrong car........the guy was looking at me kind of amazed and I just said "sorry wrong car" and leapt right back out........needless to say the guy who was waiting for me was by this time out of his car and rolling about on the pavement
only been thinking about this for a few minutes so i don't have many up my sleeve.
things i disliked when a kid but like now.
tomatoes.
Schools and teachers.......
i know a lot of brits, aussies, canadians, etc, always marvel at the arrogance, haughtiness, and cockiness of us tourists visiting their countries.
or how mainstream us citizens just fall in line with anything that comes out of the government's mouth, accept any policy as "good", believe all that stuff about how "america is the greatest nation on earth!"..
how it gets ingrained into the being of most us citizens?.
Captain Schimdeo I have never found American tourists to be arrogant and the other things you said but I agree with Sad Emo that they do have a tendency to be a little loud.......that said....
I mainly agree with anti christ.......we all just happened to be the strongest sperm on some particular day.....and where we ended up on this planet should not stop us from being an individual.
i sent the following email to trevor following the revelation of trevorgate a few days back.. trevor [or whatever your real name is] - this is not hate mail.
and it won't be long.
i have like 5 minutes before i leave for work.
The man is mentally ill...........in part he admits that himself........probably none of us are qualified to understand that.........he possibly will come back under another guise.....who knows.
But maybe we should as already suggested put it to bed..........otherwise we end up being the bullies who keep picking on the fat ugly kid who has no friends.
we have won the rugby world cup.. sorry england!.
cheers!!!.
jakes.
I am a complete traitor to my country...........I wanted South Africa to win.............a couple of weeks back I wrote of a friend who had lost her 14 year old son with cystic fibrosis..........well she is S.A. and all her family were there in S.A. rugby shirts......they carried his coffin out at the end of the service.....very moving......and so I am pleased S.A. won.....
Here is an interesting fact though.......Martin Johnson's mum was my P.E. teacher at school. She has since died and a P.E. hall at my old school, which my own son now attends is dedicated to her.....
mine is garmisch germany....spotless and dog friendly, in the heart of the alps, just on the border of austria, driving distance to anywhere in italy....an absolute dream.
the town is small, (near where sound of music was filmed) beautiful shops including, chocolate, designer fashions, local specialties and the best food you have ever tasted from every part of the world.. it is a professional skier's destination, and at the same time, cows are driven through in the morning and evening with most traffic coming to a halt to allow the same.. driving in form munich, about an hour, you climb mountains and then suddenly come into beautiful fields with the mountains rising above you.
absolutely breathtaking.
In my hubbys previous job he got a freebie, flights and hotel paid for for 3 nights.........all we had to do was turn up and pay for food excluding breakfast.......we loved it sooooo much we went back for our honeymoon and stayed longer.......on the way back the first time (we flew with Emirates, it is only about 6 hrs from the UK) I asked for extra leg room and we got upgraded to business class....twas fab.
I also thought of the Red sea aswell awesome for diving (I only snorkel) but that is great the marine life is fab.....we went to Taba in Eygpt.....
But again if I had to recommend one place you must visit in your life it would be Venice.......that was beautiful......did you go whilst you were in Italy
