  i know that sometime, somewhere the gb has claimed to be "jehovah's channel of truth" and given divine knowledge/revelation directly from angels.

  could someone please provide me with some quotes?.

  i'm speaking with a jw right now who says they don't care if the gb has made changes/mistakes in doctrine in the past because it's "old light".

  i hasve a couple of questions and some comments about things i have noticed.. if you have found the same problem at least i'll know it isn't my computer.. when i open some of the pdf files i have found on the internet they look good.

  well the cover page looks good.

  but if i go further into the book it all begins to look greek to me.

  is homeopathy ( the treatment of a disease using, in small doses, drugs that produce symtoms like those of the disease so that one's natural immune system can fight off the disease ) popular among active jw's ?

  my son who was raised as a jw has a large ( adult male palm size ) fatty growth on his back.

  his jw mother is treating him with homeopathy, as is a so called doctor.

  When I was devoted JW I got invited to some JW doos. There was always a group of old JW sistahs that practiced weird voodo stuff. One sistah would be sitting holding a vitamin bottle in the left hand. Another sistah (standing) would place some weight on the vitamin bottle with her hand. If the sistah holding the vitamin bottle could lift the bootle agianst the force of the other sistahs hand then this meant the vitamin was safe to take. If the vitamin bottle was lowered it meant the vitamin was toxic

  I suspect these practices came straight out of the golden age magazine.

  My Kingdom Hall is near extinction!!

  our kingdom hall was started in 1973 with only 3 families totaling 13 people.it grew to 85 members in the early 90's and that's because many were related to these 3 families.with older members dying,the young leaving when they reach 18, 5 divorces and many disfellowshipped,the congregation is down to 26 members.talk about low morale.

  where is jehovah's blessing now?

  I know what is causing the low attendance. Someone has grieved the holy spirit and the spirit is not whit the congo anymore. To remedy this I suggest that hustler magazines be put in the KH bathrooms, that will get the attendance back to normal.

  i've heard many times that there are some congo's in the us where you can have a neatly trimmed beard and it's perfectly ok. i have never been allowed and havn't known of anyone who could.

  how about other countries?.

  The neet thing about pubic hair is that it only gets so long. Facial hair is frowned upon because I guess you don't want an elder to look like a biker.

  the memorial attendance for 1928 is listed as 17,380. this shows that at least 75% percent of the watchtower members left after rutherford lied to them.. i was wondering where the above site gets it's source from ??

  i always thought the wts was embarrased to publish numbers when there was a decrease.. maybe someone of you know what wts publication these numbers came from?.

  The discrepancy for 1935 is well noted in the german chart. look at the entrys for 1935 you will see an asterisk beside the memorial figures. The germans must also doubt those figures as well.

  The memorial numbers are a testament to the fact that the remnant are followers of men. If the remnant were followers of God then none of them would have fallen away from 1925 -1928. So we are confidently sure that most remnant are fakes. Jesus said "a little leaven ferments the whole lump". Jws hate apostates but will associate with them at the memorial
