last week was pretty violent in the U.S.
Thinking about other things right now. Trivial minutiae. Prepare to be bored, that is if you look at this thread at all!
sites that are on my tool bar across the top of my screen:
netflix,
weather,
LA times crossword,
daily crossword,
w3schools.com/css/default.asp,
I look at all those sites every day, plus facebook for about 3 minutes, hellomagazine.com and here of course.
I wonder what you all have across the top of your screen -- what do you look at every day?

Law Enforcement Knew Bombing Was Going To Happen?
by metatron inhttp://www.wsbtv.com/news/news/local/chambliss-law-enforcement-agency-may-have-known-ab/nxt7x/.
a us senator thinks a law enforcement agency (unnamed) may have known about the boston bombing before it happened.. a new hampshire state legislator has publically said that the bombing was a black ops setup.
this remark sparked immediate controversy and denial.. an ex-fbi employee is reported to have said that the two bombers were recruited and paid by the fbi (russia today).

Is The New Governing Body Friendless At Bethel? Loneliness At The Top Of The Heap
by frankiespeakin inhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6fla_f85vq.
all of the currant gb are newbies and i'm sure not well liked at bethel by those who were close to the passed away old guard.
mark sanderson was baptised 02/1975 and many bethelites were there at bethel longer than he has been baptised this has got to have caused some jealous feelings among older ones there and perhaps such a newbie claimette to the annointed class maybe causeing others to seriously consider themselves annointed.

Why are you wasting time feeling sorry for them? They have people kissing their asses all day long. I'm sure that's a good enough substitute for friendship -- otherwise they'd do something about making friends.

Browse in a bookshop in Tokugawa Japan
by fulltimestudent induring the 268 years (approx) of rule by a military dictatorship in japan (approx.1600 to 1868) japan developed a growing, prosperous middle class and a proto-modernity that enabled the quick conversion to western modernity in the late 19th century.
a feature of the era was a growing book publishing industry.
people could make a living as authors, artists/illustrators, printers and selling books.

Got an interview
by LouBelle inas some of you know, i had no job last year, then finally got something in an industry that i know nothing about.
the environment and people haven't been the best, but i had to stick it out and hope that things would improve.
i have kept my eye and ears open for opportunities more in my field of expertise - which is print advertising.. i sent through my cv for a job i saw advertised in the newspaper for an advertising sales rep - applied and now i have an interview to go too tomorrow.. i've learnt not to get my hopes up - i am glad for the interview and i hope it goes well..

You should trust your instincts more. This troubles you, and you made a good point -- that he should save his compliments and attention for his wife. On some level you feel the attention is inappropriate. Go with your instincts. Another time with another person you may have a completely platonic relationship with no underlying feeling that it might be wrong. This time I think your instincts are right and you should not get involved.

What Are The Chances of Someone "Going Postal" At Bethel?
by frankiespeakin inwe all know that the governing body are playing a dangerous game with peoples lives.
getting people to devote their lives to the cause of the of the watchtower corporation and then finding out it was all a lie/delusion only to be even more mistreated by them if speak out about it.. i think it is a very dangerous situation they are in even right there at bethel, and here is why:.
as knowledge increases about the lies and underhandedness of the governing body and their cruel policies,, more and more people are begining to hate the governing body, the more likely that someone in their midst "going postal"(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/going_postal).. i think the likelihood increases as the cruelty of the governing body increases.

Important News You Probably Didn't Hear Because of the Boston Bombs
by Hortensia inbrian williams said that if the bombs hadn't happened in boston on that day, the world would be discussing the other news that day:.
http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/04/16/17781845-bush-era-torture-use-indisputable-guantanamo-must-close-task-force-finds.
this is shocking - if i understand it correctly, president bush knew about, discussed and approved the torture of prisoners at guantanamo and other secret cia prisons.

oh, it's all discouraging. I was talking with a friend today and we both agreed, based on past presidents, this one is probably no angel either. We just don't know yet what scams he is up to. He did promise to close Guantanamo, but apparently there are "legal reasons" he hasn't done it yet.
