  Oh my, those poor women. They must have been terrified. Sounds as though the dog's owner was terrified, too. So glad that man shot the dog. Those are dangerous dogs, especially when the owner isn't a good dog trainer. The dogs are really territorial and don't stop an attack once they start.

  At least that owner cares -- I was attacked by a German Shepherd that came flying through a door and ran out on to the sidewalk and bit me. The owner of that dog didn't give a shit, and didn't feel at all responsible. I wasn't going d2d, either, just walking down the street.

  just got a call from my mother.

  a daughter of one of my mother's cousins just died due to complications of breast cancer surgery.

  the funneral will be this saturday.

  Ain't nobody's business but your own. I wouldn't go, either. In fact, I decided long ago after my mother's funeral, I wasn't doing the JW thing ever again.

  i saw them coming down the street...the excitment grew.....then 2 people walked up to my door.... .

  one could hardly speak english...struggling to invite me to the memorial....i said "why should i go".

  they told me ...bec jesus died for everyone just one day a year is very important.... .

  Are we all bitter?

  i posted a link on fb that lead to a topic here.

  i then had one of my 'friends' start having a go about how bitter everyone is here....fact he said.

  (he used to be a jw elder but left a while back, not sure why he left or if he has even researched the faith since leaving) the more i tried to reason with him that actually it is a support forum, the more he lashed out that everyone here bad mouths the jw's and only attack the jw's.

  No, not bitter. What's the point? You move on, develop a life, live in the present. Bitterness, anger, disappointment -- it's a stage you go through. It's natural, but you get through it and move on. Life is much nicer now, I have control of my life and make my own decisions.

  Live Bald Eagle Cam-Eggs are hatching NOW!!!

  mommy and daddy have 2 eggs, and one has hatched within the past hour or so, and the other egg is rolling around, ready to hatch at any minute!!!.

  there are so many people connecting to the live cam, that you may have to keep refreshing until you get connected.

  so today one of the local elders came around to "check out how you are doing.".

  i didn't really feel like putting up with the interrogation, or the false concern so i decided that i didn't "hear" the doorbell.

  the guy decided he needed to circle my home and peek in the windows to see if i was home or not.

  I'd call the police and tell them some creep is walking around your house looking in the windows. Take photos of them doing it. Tell them it is evidence of harassment and you intend to sue them individually and collectively.

  Remember all the letters we wrote to Malawi? I wouldn't mind using the wtbts's own tactics against them. If you want to start a letter writing campaign, to Anderson Cooper, for instance, I'll happily write some letters. Pick a theme, a time period so the most letters arrive at the same time, and contact all the other exJW forums too.

  Yeah, familiar story. I lived it. Fucking elders told my mother to stay with dangerous violent husband. She fucking listened to them! Life was hell until she finaly got the cojones to get a divorce. Then it was a lesser hell until I got the hell out of the org.

  Pisses me off, too.
