You might want to study Writer's Market first, learn how to write a proposal, and then send a proposal to a bunch of publishers before finishing your novel. They won't read more than one chapter anyway. A well-written proposal shows that you are a professional and know what you are doing.

Writer's Digest should be available at your local library. Editing and rewriting are crucial. So is knowledgeable criticism. And the ability to hear criticism and benefit from it. I don't think anyone writes well at first; it takes practice and willingness to learn. And good grammar and spelling skills.

The easiest way is to self-publish through amazon kindle. The hardest way is to get an agent to read it and then shop it around for you to the major publishers. Whatever you do, edit, edit, edit. Pay someone to edit it professionally and then rework the book as the editor suggests. Lots of amateurish stuff gets published nowadays and it won't sell.

This is so difficult
by dissonance_resolved inso i woke up a few months ago and had no idea what to expect.
at first i was outraged that i had been lied to all these years and so sad that i lost so many years of my life to a cult.
in the past couple of weeks though, i've actually been having second thoughts.

I'm sorry your husband is so ill. I hope he feels better soon. As for your dilemma, just one step at a time. For the present, you can skip meetings because your husband needs you. Maybe the cong. will forget all about you! As for your family, I don't know what to say. In my case, eventually my entire family got out, but I got out first and it took a while for the rest of them to get tired of that religion.

Biding her time to strike.
by marriedtoajw ini tell you, it truely amazes me how ignorant i allowed myself to be in regards to the teachings of this religion when my wife and i married over 20 years ago.
i still can't get over it and forgive myself believing her when she told me after we got married that the jw religion wasn't for her.
perhaps because i am now immersed in the consequences of putting myself through this willful ignorance because of a suspicion i had that finding out ttatt is a rabbit hole that would only lead to more questions than answers in the long term.

I'm sorry -- that really sucks and there really isn't any way out, is there?

How can you tell?
by free2beme inafter seeing this time and time again on facebook.
i have an answer.. how can you tell someone is vegan or a vegetarian?.
answer - you wont have to, because they will tell you every single day over in over in food post, recipes and bragging about how good they feel.

I don't know -- I think Hortensia is an amusing name. I usually pick names like that -- Hortensia, Ermintrude, Winfreda, Aida
As for the avatar, it just popped up there one day. It looks pretty much like me, so I leave it. I love that little critter.
