I don't know that I'm so smart -- but I do like knitting because it's like math -- I like figuring out the patterns, I like the calculations. I'm also the originator of the dullest threads in the world!

by sparrowdown insince finding the meetings too morally repugnant to attend (coupla months now) i have.
been reaquainting myself with the joys of sat morn's at home.. imagine my disappointment to find the group study overseer and his wife pulling up out front.

I felt sorry for my mother when she died, but not especially sad. Because of our upbringing I felt detached from my family. I have stronger bonds with my sisters than I had with my mother -- the fault of the wtbts among other things.

Any advice?
by InChristAlone ini was told a very heartbreaking story last night.
one of my childhood friends adopted two kids from africa several years ago.
these kids have had very severe anger management issues and have been in regular therapy.

Yeah, empathy, poor things. I'm glad they were able to talk with their real parents. Sad situation -- I wonder how much scamming goes on in international adoptions?

Heinlein had great plot ideas, too, and adventurous stories, but he wasn't the best writer, either. However, I can still read his books and enjoy them.
