How very frustrating it must have been for them -- you didn't want to play their game! Very funny.

My DA from the WBT$ 'membership'.
by punkofnice ini posted this on the private board 2 years ago but now don't care who sees this as i'm no longer in hiding from the wbt$ cult members.. these are transcripts of the 2 letters i recieved leading up to my being da'd (not df'd), for apostacy(tm).
dear punk.
i am aware that you have requested that there be no contact from the congregation, but there is an outstanding matter that needs to be resolved, and we would like to have your co-operation in resolving it.. .

Great Teacher -- how nice to see your name on here! An old JWS friend. Math is interesting, isn't it? Even though I have lost most of it over the years, I have always enjoyed reading about it.
Rebel8 - thanks for the compliment. I"m one of those who have a hard time with people saying nice things about me.

I don't know that I'm so smart -- but I do like knitting because it's like math -- I like figuring out the patterns, I like the calculations. I'm also the originator of the dullest threads in the world!

I hope this link works!

The reports of my apostasy have been greatly exaggerated
by sparrowdown insince finding the meetings too morally repugnant to attend (coupla months now) i have.
been reaquainting myself with the joys of sat morn's at home.. imagine my disappointment to find the group study overseer and his wife pulling up out front.
the thought bubble over my head read "oh poo, poo and double poo!!".

Yeah, I was accused of that too -- too smart for my own good (whatever that means)

I felt sorry for my mother when she died, but not especially sad. Because of our upbringing I felt detached from my family. I have stronger bonds with my sisters than I had with my mother -- the fault of the wtbts among other things.

Any advice?
by InChristAlone ini was told a very heartbreaking story last night.
one of my childhood friends adopted two kids from africa several years ago.
these kids have had very severe anger management issues and have been in regular therapy.

Yeah, empathy, poor things. I'm glad they were able to talk with their real parents. Sad situation -- I wonder how much scamming goes on in international adoptions?
