Vaccinations

there is still mercury being put into some vaccines despite that being a known toxin...sammieswife.
deaths associated with hpv vaccine start rolling in, over 3500 adverse affects reported.

They need guinee pigs for more widespread testing. It's even better if the guinee pigs pay for the testing themselves. They can't be sued for any reactions including death so what do they have to lose?

Your medical doctor probably will not tell you about this when you go to get your flu shot. It’s all about making informed decisions.
A Serious Concern: Alzheimer’s Disease
Hugh Fudenberg, MD, an immunogeneticist and biologist with nearly 850 papers published in peer review journals, has reported that if an individual had five consecutive flu shots between 1970 and 1980 (the years studied), his/her chances of getting Alzheimer's Disease is ten times higher than if they had zero, one, or two shots.[vii]
Dr. Boyd Haley, Professor and Chair of the Department of Chemistry at the University of Kentucky, Lexington has done extensive research in the area of mercury toxicity and the brain. Haley’s research has established a likely connection between mercury toxicity and Alzheimer’s disease. [viii] In a paper published in collaboration with researchers at University of Calgary, Haley stated that “seven of the characteristic markers that we look for to distinguish Alzheimer's disease can be produced in normal brain tissues, or cultures of neurons, by the addition of extremely low levels of mercury.”[ix]
Does this prove that the mercury contained in the influenza shot can be directly linked to Alzheimer’s? No, absolutely not. But further research in this area is critically needed because the absence of proof is not the “proof of absence.”[x]

You should be able to request a thymersol (mercury) free flu shot but most clinics do not stock them and must be special ordered. My wife is a paramedic and gets the Hep series but requests the thymersol free ones ahead of time.
To me it makes more sense to keep my immunities up with enough sleep, fresh air, low stress, healthy diet, exercise etc. If your immunities drop then you are wide open to whatever pathogen you come in contact with. That may be the flu or god knows whatever else.
The CDC can't even prove they are effective with the data they have.

No! Sammielee24 pretty much covered my reasons also. I have not had one in over twenty years and the only time I have got the flu was a period of extreme stress and lack of sleep.
Mercury accumulates in our bodies and when you start adding up the mercury ingestion we have over our lifespan it can get very high. You can request a vaccine that is mercury free but it must be special ordered ahead of time.
Ask to see the package insert and read about the side effects and what ingredients are in it. Make an informed decision and do your own research. In the US if you have serious reaction you can't sue your doctor or the company that made the vaccine. That should cause most people to wonder why such a blanket protection is in place if they are as safe as we assume them to be.

It's very strange that the FDA warns people of the dangers of mercury in fish but not the mercury in most vacinations or dental fillings. I have never gambled with my money and most certainly will not with my daughter's life. Vacines can be made safer but since pharmacuetical companies can not be sued for adverse reactions they do not have much incentive to spend the money on doing so.

I should have clarified network TV not cable or satellite.
I have seen discussions on Oprah and Dr Phil where sexuality topics were sprinkled with some light humor and inuendo but still interesting. If my 65 y/o active JW mom watches those shows I fiqured it would OK for here also. I guess I was wrong.

The only successful post I have ever put up went on for three pages. The three pages were all woman telling me in essence I was a jerk. So I learned my leason about posting questions here. Silly me, I was anticipating some help and insight. All the rest of my post's have disappeared within minutes into obscurity.

As a rule of thumb I always use descriptions and phrases that are allowed on US TV and radio. Is that OK or still too graphic? I understand not hijacking a serious thread but on other funny or adult threads a baseline is needed because sex is so subjective. A post that would make me laugh would offend someone else.
Reclaiming a sense humor or learning to laugh is a vital step when leaving the WT$. There are so many depressing and downer threads here that humor is absolutely needed to balance it out.
Someone just leaving the Borg will offend at the slightest sexual inuendo while someone like me that has been out for 24 yrs. is completely immune. Humor is the main reason I come here and I hope this is not going to have dulling or chilling effect on JWD.
Now I am paranoid to post or reply to anything other then bible topics posted in the "beliefs" of "doctrines" section.
I still have not fiqured out what is construed as hijacking here vs posting an opposite view. So much is up to the whim or mood of the mods.
