Thank you blondie, very inspiring and thought provoking, d**n hilarious , almost choked on my tea To black pearl “I too have thought about these many topics, the bottom line is this....we simply don't know what Jehovah has in store for us. Even if we did know, what could we do different? It makes no sense, and leads us to no conclusions to speculate. I have to admit though, it is fun to ponder the future, but the simple truth is, we just don't know.“ I understand what you saying, but as being a human being with a curious nature( aren't we all), always asking questions, why can't we asked those type of questions, if you don't swallow the answers from elders, you will seen as someone who is dangerous to the organisation, why not ask questions kings of Israel, Jesus and his disciple asks questions, you right we don't know! But wts knew when armagedon was coming, Right? Maybe it seems confusing what i'm saying, but goodness, isn't it just all confusing?

what will happen after armageddon!
by jinjam ini was talking to my sis, and we came up with this!
if we will be living for hundreds or thousands of years in "paradise", no death, no sickness, no war, no pestilence, no hunger," the former things will have passed away" don't remember the chapter or verse in the nwt, and what about the "raised from the dead" won't the world become overpopulated, remembered talking to my mom about it when we were little and she said it would never happen?
our reasoning

i think the only way to find out is to ask the person who wrote the lyrics what they really mean, everyone interpretation will be different from the next,so the possibility of talking to the lyric writer is probably never going to happen, means.................( da da daaaaaaaaam)we'll never know!

by Tigerman inis homeopathy ( the treatment of a disease using, in small doses, drugs that produce symtoms like those of the disease so that one's natural immune system can fight off the disease ) popular among active jw's ?
my son who was raised as a jw has a large ( adult male palm size ) fatty growth on his back.

I don't know if its a JW thing, but i can tell in Europe everyone uses it or at least tried. Its can useful for alot of things, eg stress, pain, anxiety etc, for growths, i have never heard anyone using it for serious illnesses, besides i have used it for my allegies, but i thinks its all a mind thing, there is absolutely no scientific proof that it works, but somehow loads of people use it, even me. I think your friend really needs to see a doctor

I can honestly say that it has taken me yrs to get over constant guilt feelings, depression, and self- loathing. Even now i will get those little reminders and i have been doing it on my own,its been 10 years now, might seem like a long time, but i was born in the "truth" and left when i was 18 or rather thrown out because we refused to go to meetings and obey my crazy mother. its only since i found this site have i realised that i wasn't alone, (thank goodness for you people) we all have been through those experiences, speaking to people who know what you talking about can do wonders to your mental health, i should know. by the way happy new year to everyone, hehehehehehe, just because i can!

Miss Field Service?
by searching4truth ini was just thinking today about the old days going door to door and street work and i have some very fond memories of those days.
coolhand and i used to go in street work everyday together when we were pioneering.
i used to be my happiest when i was in the preaching work.

no way, i found it degrading, meeting rude people, getting shouted at and getting up early in the morning to wake up other people who couldn't be bothered, sorry thats definitely something that i don't miss!

I remember when i was a kid,i was always falling asleep at assemblies and my mom always telling me that it was satan making me sleep( hilarious) because he did not want me to listern to gods word, actually it was just so boring, that i really had to stay awake not to be scolded. heheheheeehee always new there was something fishy, grew up with it and never got baptised because my mother was constantly pushing me, my luck, i'm even surprised that my brother is allowed studying mechanical enigineering, so i don't think that topic ( science thing) has reached south africa yet. And yes Jws are really everywhere. i'm new, so i'd thought i'd add my bit
