  AHHHHH! I'm PREGNANT!!!

  just thought i would pop in here to tell you all that i am 3 months pregnant!

  it was quite a shock.

  my husband and i have been married for 5 years.

  Did You Overly Discipline Your Kids Because Of Being A Witness?

  i knew a lot of jws that "beat" their child with the "rod" as a preferred "scriptural" form of punishment.

  corporal punishment was the norm while growing up......were you given the "rod" often?

  did you overly discipline your children??

  My sister and i were never spanked, now that i think about it, we got wacked the living daylights out of us, blue marks and bruises that resembled leather belts, not just for doing something naughty, but for not sitting still at the meetings, not wanting to go to the meeting , backchatting my mother which usually meant about to open my mouth to say something,not having the expression on my face that she wanted,(boy, was she fustrated) ofcourse with the added bonus of "if you live under my roof you will do as i say" or "you are full of demons" scenario. The last wack we got was at two o clock in the morning, when my mother was not pleased that we had come home at midnight,(we were 18 years old) she had packed our bags , and told us to leave if we did not want to follow jehovah, we refused to leave because we said that it was our home, but evently we left,(after my sister completely cracked and fought back, not a nice story to tell) Then a few years back i went and visited my mom ( who is still a strict jw as ever) and she told me that they have discoverd that the "real" meaning "to not spare the rod" is infact just a guideline and that it is not literally meant to be physical. Well thank you mommy dearest for that enlightenment, I feel much..... much.... better now?! ( eyes rolling)

  Violence at Bethel

  has there ever been assaults on a bethel or attacks at people within a bethel?.

  with so many people hurt by the wts and that eventually leads to anger ,has anyone used violence to pay back the hurt?.

  hey what's up everyone?

  hope everything is going alright.

  im not doing too bad, just relaxing and doing alot of thinking.

  soo soory always forgetting format! (wack) hey sexyk "Now that im in the world, im experiencing phycological problems, im still me though, the funny crazy kid. But i can tell im being effected mentally. I find i can't trust many people, i can't be around big gatherings, i find it hard hanging out with certain worldy people, just accepting how people live in general. I feel so alone in this world, but i know one of the ways the society makes people come back is the physological discipline. It's hard leaving the mentality i had for the past 20 years, but im slowly learning, and i will conqer it." I too was brought up in the truth and my sis, i left when we were 18, i understand how hard it must be (believe me), but it very normal to have those types of feelings, distrust is the same even for non-jws, but good friends comes with patience, it will take a while, as kids we were always isolated from "worldly people" but they are also human, remember that, sometimes just seeing the good in people makes you feel better (that still does'nt mean that everyones good!) good luck for the future (oh noooooooo! i shouldn't say goodluck).... oh what the hell! good luck!!!! hehehehehe!
