my husband and i visited with an old friend who is about to be disfellowshipped and guess what he told us:.

car groups regularly drive by our house to check it out.

an elder said he saw ... gasp ... a christmas tree this past christmas (which he had to have snuck a look through a side window because our front windows always have the shutters closed!.

i was raised as a jw from the age of 4, my father was an elder for 18 years, was a auxillary pioneer for years, been there done all that and decided to leave at age 30, i have chosen a pagan path and am very happy but sometimes i feel guilty for no reason, does anyone else ever have this problem?

if you do, how do you handle it?

The love of your life "cheats" on you....could you forgive?

the old age question............ say, your "soul mate" the love of your life, goes on a trip with some friends.........something happens one night...... they have sex with a stranger( or even a friend)............they come home and tell you what they did............they still love you.. what would you do?...............is the marriage over?

i think maybe a few years ago i could deal with it, now i think i would loose my head completely if my husband had to cheat on me, Its takes a while to trust someone, i believe trust is strengthend by the love you share for years, it deepens with time.

When that trust is broken, it will take alot of heartache and emotional upheavel to get past such a thing, i don't know whether i could!

what a great god he is.

there are thousands dying from cancer and poverty, he has no time for them, but he helps her win the tennis!!!

Bring it: Mac OS X Versus Windows Vista

i am ready to upgrade my system (currently windows xp) and am seriously considering switching to apple.. the new windows vista is going to be released soon, and it finally looks like a mac anyway.

who wants to follow a follower anyway?.

i need a powerful workstation for graphics, webdesign and 3d animation.. plus, i am very impressed with the new iphone and believe that the ipod culture will continue to keep macworld in the ascendant.

i am an apple fanatic, never got a virus once (touch wood), i'm an interior designer so i use photoshop and illustrator quite often,archicad is something i have just started with.

sure you could use pc with the creative suite, but mac is unique as you have amazing short cuts and its really user friendly, i have a friend who is a multimedia designer, and he is quite happy with his mac as well, but in the end you will decide!

so many people here and so little knowledge of jehovah's witnesses.

there are still people here associating jehovah's witnesses with the watchtower society when that is not the case.

so many people look to the past not the future.
