  Latest news of my Husband Marco (heart surgery)

  so dear friends here is the latest news about hubby's heart by- pass.. the doctor spoke with us both this evening and marco will have the surgery in a week and a half.. he is holding his own and the doctor hopes he won't have another heart attack before surgery.. there are many people that are involved with a heart team.

  and so that is why we have to wait to get organized in everry way.

  marco is still weak and is constantly tired.

  The Story of Minimus

  when i was a teen, i aspired to be an elder.

  from my pre-teens until i was 18, i was in every circuit assembly and district convention----having either ministry school talks or parts or experiences.

  at 20, i conducted a bookstudy in the afternoon, also regular pioneered, was the theocratic ministry school overseer in the 2nd school and regularly taught the main school.

  i've been married to the same man for 21 years today .

  god knows we've had our ups and downs, but we've been together for 24 years and married 21 of those 24 years!!!!

  No internet connection!!!

  wont be on in the evenings until computer is fixed (some problem with the server which internet provider and phone operator are unable to fix, been offline for 5 days so far).

  so i only have access at work and thats not private at all - people can see you and the screen.

  it's lunchtime at the moment so most out the office and i've been surfing but only scratched the surfance of today let alone all i've missed.. i'm out of the office alot and will be out for 3 weeks from 4 june.

  I have been thinking along the same lines for a while now. I always used to say, as a dub, the people I am friends with are not people I would neccessarily choose to the friends with but I have to be, and the only thing we have in common is God.

  Now I realize that we don't have to suffer through 'friendships,' if that's what you can call them, we can choose who we want to be around and who we don't. I see a lot of people I used to hang out with and it is such a relief to me to not have to put up with their fake frinedshhip anymore. In the past mos,t if not all, of these friendships have been one-sided with me doing all the work and running and in the end they just weren't there for me when I needed help or support or even just a phone call.

  I am now trying to choose who I will give of myself to instead of blindly accepting every person that comes along as a frined.

  my son's father is a JW

  my ex-husband is a jw and he has stuck this religon so far in our son's head that he takes are son to meeting and i was okay with him taking him for awhile but, know it's gone to far and he has gottan re-married and his new wife doesn't like me because i'm not in the box with them.

  they are wanting to take my son from me because i'm a signal mother.

  sorry my spelling is bad but if anyone could help me in this matter that would be great.... i don't want to get to personal.
