I think if crumpet wants to get a tattoo then that's up to her, you have a right to your own opinions but you don't need to sound so patronising. Crumpet is not a teenager and has wanted to get a tattoo for a long time so why shouldn't she. And she has already said it will be on her hip which is hardly an obvious, highly visible place now is it.
You are making yourself sound like an old fuddy-duddy before your time, so come on mate lighten up, life's for living.
i've been out for about 4 years and for the first time i've been able to find a place that understands how hard it was for me to get to where i am today after being raised a jw.
i feel like all of you can relate to having to start a new life from scratch after years of living a completely different one.

so i went last night and it really wasn't that bad.
in fact, i felt comfortable.
i got the usual greetings, hugs, and one of the elders almost came to tears when he saw me.. there were also the "same-old" "same-olds" who look right through you and never say a word to you.
I'm glad it went well, Warlock. Iliked your 'brother I've lost two children to the world and I don't know why,' I know a few of those. I got the same reaction from the dubs yesterday too, it didn't go as badly as I thought it would in the end.

on the real nisan 14... sunday april 1st.. shared communion with 500+ other believers after one of the children's choirs sung praises to our lord jesus.. wore a pair of gray dress slacks with a black belt and a short-sleeved gray and black-checked polo and my silver chain and cross.. afterwards, went to ruby tuesday and had a light supper with some of my closest friends.. it was a refreshing evening.... no yadda yadda yadda about the "faithless deceitful slave".
no yadda yadda yadda about only 144,000 can eat the crackers and drink the grape juice.
so, did you enjoy the memorial?.
I certainly didn't enjoy the one I went to, just felt really drained afterwards.

i'm just going to start at the beginning.. i was anticipating the memorial all day.
i was nervous but excited, kind of like standing in line for a roller coaster.. ok. so erika gets ready at her house, and i get ready at mine.
i'm wearing a black suit with a light green shirt, and a tie that had hues of green and yellow in it.
Wow, that was so beautifully written. I could see it all happening as I was reading. I loved the in the non smoking section comment, classic. Thank you for sharing.
its hard to get a pic of an all black dog..going to try again with ebony.
they are brother(brody) and sister(ebony) the mother was a stray that a neighbor took in not knowing she was pregnant.
of course i had to help out in helping the litter find good homes.
