I remember being told not to view a person's death as the last time you'll see them (new system). I think yhis really messes dubs up because then they don't fully grieve for their loved ones and as a result they can't then move on with their lives.

DID YOU DEDICATE YOURSELF BEFORE BAPTISM OR DID YOU LIE?
by free2think ini was just wondering when you where going through the questions for baptism did you know you had to dedicate yourself to jehovah before hand or did you lie?.
i didn't know i had to so when i went through the questions i had to lie and say i had.
i always felt bad about it afterwards and quickly did a little prayer that night.

Very true Marcel, i think it's ridiculous to put so much pressure on young people to get baptized especially when there are so many others things happening in their lives during those formative years.
BB good point. I agree with you completely.

I'm so sorry, I know life must really suck right now but it will get better hang in there. I'm sorry about your grandfather too, I hope they do at least ease up a bit to allow you to say your goodbyes.

Did you use to believe that all the annoited ones contributed information
by troubled mind inwhen i was little there were several elderly ones in our hall that were of the annointed class .
i was lead to believe that they sent in surveys of a sort to the society regularly.
about their opinoins on theocratic matters .i was told that they ,all the annointed, contributed material to the magazines .

Triplet birth
by zensim ini am constantly amazed at the courage of the human spirit.
having triplets alone would be a momentous task, let alone what else comes with it: .

I was one of those people who either didn't have a pen or paper or who wasn't really concentrating. I was usually too busy trying to get out of the ministry altogether when I was growing up. When as I got older and started pioneering I did take not at homes but I didn't used to hand them in very often, I would keep them for another time but never really managed to go back, oops.

wow thank you for all the replies.
I agre with what a lot have said. I was fearful of the big A and I know it definitely made me feel more pressured, i thought if i got baptized i would be closer to being saved when the time came.
