  here's my self-centered little update post.

  after seeing all the hardships so many here are enduring, it helps put my little "problems" into perspective.

  but i'm posting this lil' update anyway, not because i want the attention or want people to feel sorry for me, but because i feel a strong connection to this board and the people here and every so often want to let y'all know what is up with me, and indirectly, what is up with mike/openfireglass, as he is not (at the moment) interested in spending any time online.

  Hi GGBG,

  What a crazy week, i'm really sorry about your car getting broken into and all the stress to go with it and the uti, ouch. I'm glad you're feeling better though with the anitbiotics.

  But i'm really happy you and mike are doing good, and so close, please say Hi from me, i hope he comes back to the board soon, we miss him.

  Did any of you have a microphone fear/phobia?

  i did.

  i hated commenting because of it...i hated giving talks on the main school, .

  i hated hearing my own voice...,my voice always sounded like i was scared shitless lol.. anyone else?

  You're not a freak eclipse.

  I didn't have a phobia as such but i was always scared that when i answered up the mic would go off, and i wondered if i'd notice or just keep talking completely oblivious that no one could hear me.

  I do have a funny story about being on the platform doing a wacktower and awake presentation. I was talking away doing my presentation, and i could feel something happening to the mic but i couldnt work out what was happening. Then suddenly the bottom of the mic fell off. It was loose from an earlier talk and finally came away completely for me. So embarressing.

  2008 conventions

  although no announcement has been made i think they are having 4 day conventions next summer.

  look at this link and you'll see the dates already reserved for jw in rochester mn for thursday - sunday at different times next july and august.

  it doesn't show thursday just as a day to clean because if you look at this year it just shows friday - sunday.. .

  as i have stated in previous posts, i absolutely hated field service.

  hated it.

  i dreaded it with a passion and couldn't wait to be done.

  Nope and Nope.

  I hated the field service and used every excuse possible to go on 'calls,' which is what i used to call them to the other dubs, really it meant coffee break.

  I hated reading the wacktower and awake, i think i only read an awake cover to cover twice in my whole life. At that was when i speed read it, i had no idea what it was about afterwards, lol.

  My wife left me two weeks ag

  i dont post on here that often but look everyday.. i used to be an elder and left the witnesses 5 years ago.

  my wife left 6 years ago.. in my opinion my wife and i have had the best 5 years of our lives because we have been married 28 years.. after 28 years of marriage she sent me a text you need to go home there is a letter on our bed.

  in the letter she clearly states she has left me because she does not love me in the real way.
