Of course, an underline to emphasize that the sisters' opinion is to be as limited as possible. Hahaha so sad!

nicolaou, is it wrong to form an alliance to fight a common enemy, even though you don't share the same beliefs with that ally?

Hmm this 'best' in yellow suggests they have seen the hash tag 'worst convention ever'. Here's hoping that some also read the reasons why it was the worst.

Got my JC cancelled... (at least for now)
by Sanchy inso my wife and i have been in the process of fading for a few months now as per my original post here.
about a week ago, i was browsing some ex-jw facebook groups when i saw a post that linked to the crisis of conscience book.
i said "f@(k it" and hit share on it.. a few hours later, i get a long text letter from my mom (who was a fb friend of mine) telling me the typical "good luck finding friends in the world" and how we have "nothing in common anymore"; basically, it was a 'farewell' text.

pale.emperor, ha ha! But what's the likelihood of sharing a post about a book one hasn't read? The elders will still consider sharing the post as encouraging others to read this book, whatever you say.

From the link: "Hans Hollis, regional media contact for the Convention, ... 'Throughout the weekend there are talks based on specific examples taken out of the Bible to highlight people who had the resolve to do what is right under difficult circumstances', Hollis said."
That's one way to put it, except that the difficult circumstances are caused by the organization itself! Quite an important piece of information he left out there, don't you think?

Dutch TV crew kicked out of Circuit Assembly
by Anders Andersen inin the netherlands, a tv crew for powned (a website/tv station known for their non-conventional approach and love for controversy) visited a circuit assembly.
the video starts with them asking 'is everyone welcome here, even criminals, bikers, gays?
', and the answer is of course yes.. then the clip focuses on asking dubs questions about gays and the caleb video.. in the end the crew is asked to stop filming and leave.

@DJS: I don't see any JW commenting. Comments are mostly about other christian(s) relating their opinion about gays and gay behavior and then others respond to that. Gay behavior among animals is mentioned. How to keep JWs off the door. Mentioning they're crazy. One mentions that the founder was a swindler (the wheat etc), and then went into magazine printing, who can trust that, etc... -

Watchtower State
by nelim ini was watching a documentary from last week about saudi arabia.
there are many human rights violations going on, supported from islam ideology.
apparently is(is) is an off-shoot of saudi society.

This is correct, but from what I remember, JWs believe that they themselves won't kill any sinners.
Yes but suppose everyone is a JW, then what effect will the DF/DA have? -

I was watching a documentary from last week about Saudi Arabia. There are many human rights violations going on, supported from Islam ideology. Apparently IS(IS) is an off-shoot of Saudi society. People are afraid to voice their real opinion. That got me thinking: suppose JWs would be the only religion what would such a society look like? This is supposed to happen after Armageddon, right? I guess quite similar to Saudi Arabia! Scary stuff, in contrast with all the WT promises of a paradise. Do those Saudi civilians also believe they live in spiritual paradise? LOL! (funny, but not really of course :( especially for the women being treated so unfairly).
