Do any of you regret deeply as Peter mentioned not getting to join High School sports if you were allowed to even attend school? Peter did not say he deeply regret's not being on a High School sports team, we both have something in common, I was a great diver and could beat the fastest kid on the team. I have regrets, I went up against the number two weight class in Wrestling and pinned him in two minutes. Also without taking Roids, my bench was a legal 320 for the 168 weight class, another brother had the High School record and blew away everyone in the state by benching over 400lbs, the elders were pissed off!

I might be off a few things on my past "Glory Days, the'll pass you bye, Glory Days!" The Boss has a song so true, all the things we could have been or were. Watch "It's Always Sunny in Philly" High School Reunion and see if it reminds you have how shitty kids could be in high school!

Thank you all! His biggest question that's really hard for me to answer is, why we arrived at the conclusion "this is not the Truth" because of physically bad actions vs researching truth? Asking he "Why did you allow the Watchtower society to keep your minds in prison?" is really hard to answer. The Watchtowers gave us chances, we had magazines, we heard talks during the Convention saying "Prove this is the truth again, that is how the weaker ones are getting re-activated! How come you did not prove it through intellectual means instead of letting them grind your emotions to dust?"

I appreciate everyone's insight, how would you explain his problem we don't come to this conclusion until they abused us emotionally, mentally and physically? Jokely said "Not everyone can be a genius like you, we had ideas placed in our brains as kids(he said, so did I but not as strong as yours) and some of those ideas like 1975 took a big piece of our lives that won't be returned." He see's how wicked the witnesses can be but there are good ones too, can't people see just a fractional amount of good or have the elders and their wicked wives destroyed his spiritual desire for life? He's said the COBE helped him see "It's obvious there is no God or that fat piece of trash would get smite!" These Elders don't see their stumbling kids at young ages and still their out in Field Service trying to get people inside the Ark before it's too late!

I should thank the Elders and COBE for helping remove the Cult from his mind, instead I wish he will glance over all different views before coming to a final one. I wonder if the majority of us were brought here because of bad conduct instead of intellectually seeking proof the Watchtower was not from the Intelligent Being.

How do I explain he can get over the guilt, stop feeling sorry about wasting his years in this religion and move on with life? I am tired of hearing he wasted his time when there are people who are double, triple or six times his age when they learned this was a lie(14*6 84) brother in Ray Franz's book who was excommunicated at the ripe age of 93 years old What would you do i this case, I wish you and me were this young when we learned this was a joke!

i was out today at the grocery store, picking up a few things for the weekend, when just beyond the pineapples, i spotted a jw lady i was once friends with.. i wasn't interested in engaging in conversation, so i just continued picking out fruit, when out of the corner of my eye, i see her look at me and recognize me.

she looked like she was panicking, and then darted behind a pillar in the store, trying to hide from me!.

my dd was with me and noticed what happened.

Are J.W.'s as Gullible as the Org's Writings Imply?

Search they don't even thoroughly read their literature and keep up with all the "new light", so how can they be gullible, the word implies the Witness took some time to read or think, very few even study to digest and synthesize all the writers ideas presented by the Watchtower. I think most are on cruise-control and don't think about religion like all of us here do, to be gullibility implies some acceptance of the doctrines, as many of you have proven, most JWs don't read and I have discovered don't want their own You-tube Channel JW.Org!

Should I Make My Wife Watch the May Broadcast?

I think we are the only ones watching the JW Broadcasting Monthly worship videos, why is this so? How come JWs are spending their time doing the Netflix binge while JWs who have left the Organization are reading the magazines, books and watching those videos? My f.i.l.. have not watched not a single JW video, my JW family have not watched any JW.ORg videos, why are we the only ones watching them? What's wrong with our brains, are the JWs who preach and wear JW.ORG nothing more than hypocrites and we are the real deal?

the cobe of the local kingdom hall never paid my ex-wife for the work done because they promised they would use "trade" to reimburse close to $5000 worth of work.

as you can imagine nobody here would like him because he believes all the pedophiles can change their ways after the child sex offenders have proved their humility by bowing before the judicial committees.

Can I get any emotional satisfaction back by warning the community these JWs are corrupt and their business is too? Has the Watchtower lost their path because they ignored all the evil like Eli's sons, Hophni and Phinneas? Don't they care there are plenty of Elders destroying the congregations because of their sham service to a god that has nothing to do with Jesus Christ or YHWH? Even if you don't believe in God, if you still did, how do you reconcile the book of Isaiah if you practice wickedess or have the nerve to pretend your a follower of Jesus Christ(oh, that's right, the New Testament is for the anointed remnant, not the Great Crowd) after showing your life is testimony Satan is your Father.

Just humor me on this, how can anyone claim to follow Jesus or God when everything they do is condemned by the Bible and the Watchtower's Magazines. Years ago the Watchtower wrote a scathing denunciation attacking frauds and thieves who steal by running up their credit cards right before they file bankruptcy like this elder did, the Watchtower said they were thieves "and needed to pay the money back". Is their form of worship for show, is the Kingdom Hall their Moose Lodge that does nothing good for the community other than make people marked for doom, feel their not?

Why do people like the COBE and his wife and Pedophiles actively mocking Jehovah God by stealing from the Government think God is going to over look the? What is the purpose of attending meeting other than lording his position over the other animals? My son made that point, he said "Dad, the only place cobe is made something is in the Kingdom Hall, all other places people pick up how uneducated and ignorant of life he is. Only in the Kingdom Hall does he feel like a Sith lord, he get's off on picking on the weak ones"(that from a 16 year old). Is that the extant of how a evil person claiming to worship God views life, their greatest achievement is claiming their a leader of the most uneducated bible students with the greatest propensity for mental health problems along with the low socioeconomic status? Like the old cigarette Ads, "You've really come a long way baby!", your the rooster of all these mentally sterile hens!

I see Miracles everyday when I read the newspaper about the young Gulf War Vet that had his legs blown off only to get screwed over by the Right Wing leaders(Their the God Party, they claim "Yes, We are Team Jesus!") who are willing to shirk their responsiblity of this young solider and soon begins his downward spiral towards suicide and dark depression. The Miracle is this, when you interview many of these soldiers they blame the Left who want more health care for the Vets while the Right is begging for more money for the Military Contractors.

I see Miracles when a man getting $825 a month on Social Security(SDI, not SSDI) is bragging how we need to get rid of the Lefties because their spending too much on Social Security and Medicare. If he did not have California Medicaid, Social Security and Medicare he would be dead. I see Miracles when I hear people bragging how the Republicans are going to help all these poor people get a better chance like Kansas has done. OTWO, I know this was not part of the Miracles you spoke about but don't you think the Leaders in the Right consider it a Miracle all the disabled people have not joined together and voted them out because they want to destroy the groups who vote them in?

The VA is being hounded by the Republicans to give all the monies to a Insurance company along with Social Security so they can make a profit off it(How many Trillions is that?) The folks on these programs are going to be visiting the Salvation Army for dinner and still be performing Miracles for the Right Wingers who thank their god people can't evolve and see who is trying to break them up.

arguing with my husband again, i asked where is the proof that jesus looked down on earth in 1919 and chose a small group of bible students in america apart from them saying it in their magazines.

also where is the proof that satan and his demons were cast down in 1914 just because first world war started.

neither of these things are in the bible only in their magazines.

Amazing how JWs expect householders to provide answers for them when they tried to nail them on doctrinal teachings JWs thought they could easily destroy. The hard part was when the JWs has to answer questions they knew were false prophecies, Rutherford living off the Watchtower like Jim Baker. Dishonesty is not a word with many Witnesses, "its a way of life!". Trying to get a honest answer and he plugs his ears and walks out of the room, how many Bible characters does that sound like, hint (Acts 8? with Saul guarding these evil men). The Jews when outraged with Stephen plugged their ears and stoned him to death without just cause.

I saw him and his wife today standing out in front of Starbucks basking in the radiance of their own self-righteous glory. Drinking their $5 double-carmel machiatto along with his pedophile pioneer partner they smiled not noticing I was reading a newspaper in my dark shades and hat. They scoffed at a fund raiser that teenagers were doing to help pay for the expenses of a two-year old girl who died in her sleep. Imagine the great witness those Starbuck Witnesses gave (It was 10:15, Field Service meeting started at 9:30, usually you get on the road around 9:50 to 10:00 AM if your dragging your feel or doing the Pioneer Shuffle.) as they stood outside patting themselves on the back for a "Job well done!" For almost a hour they stood and drank their designer coffees, when did Field Service begin, they count their missionary service standing outside a Starbucks while teenagers are working their butts off to help the local Little League coach pay for burial expense.

These are the people who ripped us off, how can they think God appreciates their pseudo field service? I think the teenagers doing coming together helping a coach with limited funds, now that refreshed my faith in humanity, not fakes pro-claimers of God"Three Witnesses and a Pedophile" I appreciate your ideas, if only things worked like the Watchtower said, "during the New System people's state of drawing close to God will be easily observed, those who are doing good would return to their age of thirty, those who practice evil and hate would get older! Imagine how many fake followers of Jehovah would need portraits like Dorian Gray to cover up how corrupt they truly are, I doubt I will get her that money yet if I can let the people know how bad they are, that's justice enough!
