Foxnews today; "UFO crashed into Meteor to save earth in 1908".....Bullcrap!

russian scientist claims a ufo saved earth by smashing into a meteor which blew up in tunguska 1908 knocking down miles of trees in the explosion????

he claims to have found a "control panel" in a slab of rock, and meterial that "can only be found in space" duuuuur!

i think ufo's are just another fantasy religion that people rely on..

I have it too.

I check my cell phone all the time! Sometimes I will check my pocket for the vibrating cellphone and it isnt even in my pocket!!

we all know wt's view of "apostates"and disfellowshiped persons.

they grap from the old testament quotes that "god's people, isralites" stone to death the evil doers, even the unobedient children.

the first one to cast the stone was a close relative, parents, brothers, sisters.

I would like to point out that I had Samuel Herd as a District overseer nearly a decade before he was appointed onto the "governing body".

Does that mean he knew beforehand that he would be appointed and thus changed his name early on?

Or perhaps he had an assumed name when he became a district overseer?

It would be hard for every overseer to have an assumed name.

Bible Studies...how hard, how rare, anybody know a JW with one???

i find it interesting how many dubs of even 50 years old have never had a bible study (yet they go out most sat morns.

for two hours and turn in the slip) ...and how many dubs really want one?

Back when I was a jw, I had 4 over the course of my 5 years as a pioneer.

An elderly man with alzheimers - we studied the my book of bible stories because he didn't remember anything.

A man who knew the Bible better than I did, but didn't live by it - he said it was a nice historical book.

A teenage boy who didnt want to study, but his mom made him.

A teenage girl whom I turned over to a pioneer sister.

Of these studies, I didn't prepare for any of them. I didn't want them. I hope they never join.

France taxing The Watchtower, what became of that?

years ago it was announced that france was going to tax the watchtower.. i believe the watchtower took out a full page newspaper ad in the new york times (?

) protesting this action on the part of france.. the watchtower in france appealed this decision to the courts.. so, after all these years, what happened?.

did the watchtower (france division) have to pay taxes or not?.

BurnTheShips, I believe you are correct - france does not tax religious organizations. But they do tax cults.

when we leave the wbt$ religious cult "jehovah`s witness`s"..the wbt$ encourages our familys to have little,or nothing to do with us..........our own jehovah`s witness parents will do exactly as the wbt$ commands..mine did.......my jehovah`s witness parents told other jehovah`s witness`s,"i hated all jehovah`s witness`s"..not true..i just did`nt like the religion..i had no problem with most individual jw`s.............................how did your jehovah`s witness family treat you,when you no longer wanted to participate as a jehovah`s witness?...........................................................................outlaw.
