I worked hard for all my responsibilities. Which is interesting because some do not. I knew one born in whose father was an elder he got positions in the congregation without any effort and it took 3 speeding tickets of 15 miles over before he got removed. Others were removed for just playing laser tag.

Did you work hard to get privileges within the Jehovah's Witnesses Organization...? Did you ever wanted to be a CO, DO or marry a CO or DO?

Congregation had to relocate Memorial...thanks to me
by Shepherd Book inso, the two local congregations were planning to hold their memorial together at 7:30 at the local community center, but they had to make a last-minute change to their own hall, and i'm pretty sure it was because of me.. let me explain.... at work on monday afternoon, a co-worker returned from her lunchbreak and showed me the memorial invitation that was waiitng in her door when she went home for lunch.
i noticed the sticker on the back indicated the memorial was being held, not at the local hall, but at the community center.
from a past (non-jw) event i attended there, i knew they didn't allow alcohol (unless you pay for security guards), so i wrote to the center's coordinator:.

I think you did the right thing by pointing it out. The fault lies with the witnesses for omitting they were having wine. As such they should have gotten security.

Does the WT knowingly violate fire codes on Memorial night?
by Calebs Airplane ini've been to at least 5 different halls in my lifetime and have seen the same scenarios repeated over and over... the max occupancy sign (regulated by local fire code) is completely ignored on memorial night.. for example, one hall i attended had an average congo attendance of about 95 with a max occupancy of 175. however, on memorial night, we'd usually stuff at least 200 people into the hall.
don't ask me how, but we did... the other 4 halls i attended had similar scenarios.... however, my experiences could very well be completely isolated events.
so i'm curious to know what your experiences have been on memorial night.... have you noticed whether or not the fire code has been adhered to at your hall on memorial night?

I agree the original post.
In the one hall that I was privy to knowledge of the firecode it was 165. We averaged 80 to 100 per meeting. Memorial time, we hit 200+.
I even asked the Presiding Overseer about it one time and he said "As long as the fire marshall doesn't know, we are ok".

If they put the invite in your mailbox and it is an official federal USPS mailbox - they can be fined. It is illegal to put non-mail in an official mailbox. If you really don't want them doing it then report it.

All of Bethel Know About The Child Molestation Law Suits: And The Governing Body Is Looking Very Bad In Most Bethlites Eyes I'm Willing To Bet
by frankiespeakin inok we had the silent lambs march years ago right there at head quarter over this issue, don't you think that caused a lot of gossip, and expose on a big abc network called 20/20, and many in europe, canada, all about how bad the governing body's policies are on children.. now we have out of court settlements with victims with a gag order, conti big case, and many more.
so i would think everyone at bethel knows about the governing body's mishandleling of these matters.. i'm sure this, a long with the big new light about the governing body alone make of the faithful slave are causing many a lot of irritation and so are seeing these guys now in a different light..

The thing is my brother is in Patterson headquarters - he said "I would rather be wrong and a jw than be right and in the world". Thus was after I confronted him 3 years ago on molestations.

Watchtower Birthday Logic
by enigma1863 inthe watchtower bases their opposition to birthdays by two scriptures, saying something bad happened and god must have put it in there for a reason.
following their logic are there any other things jws shouldnt do because bad things happened in a couple of scriptures?.

Taking a dump. Didn't some king or other get offed while doing that?
Eglon was killed and his servants thought he was taking a dump.
Judges 3:22-24
22 Even the handle sank in, and the blade came out his back. The king’s fat covered the whole sword, so Ehud left the sword in Eglon. 23 Then he went out of the room and closed and locked the doors behind him. 24 When the servants returned just after Ehud left, they found the doors to the room locked. So they thought the king was relieving himself.

Why do witnesses need the title of pioneer to get 30 hours?
by BU2B inif witnesses believe that we truly are in the end of the end of the last days, and they believe the work they do will really save lives, and most can just make a few adjustments and get 30 hours, why dont they do this more often??
without the title?.
to me if you really care about people you would not wait until you have a special title or badge to wear of look at me im pioneering, you would do the most you can every month and not care about recognition from men.

If the 49ers are going to go, they have to go all the way.
As of right now, the 49ers are the only ones with a 5-0 record when it comes to superbowls.
If they are going to lose, let it be this week instead of the SB.
