Facts about the NT Bible

historically, the bible is a secondary support for christians and jews.

i was raised roman catholic, and our tradition and practices included the bible, but it was not a key centerpiece of our faith.

the jewish side of my family likewise have a rich history of tradition and faith that is lived, and not pinned down to every word in the bible.

I really don't care who put what together (but lot of material are at our disposal NOW) and everyone is supposed to be attracted by what suites his state of mind or understanding I guess. That's why I can understand that the bible can be repulsive on some matters if you focus on details.

The OT is just showing mehow life is when we have to live by laws (like kids who just don't know what is right and wrong) ... AND need to follow too much humans and laws (who can contradict themselves BTW) which leads to piramidal systems = and injustice) It's all like the one who is above or already got more, have more rights (even to sin)

The WTBS likes to use OT a lot and I guess that I know why!

To me the Gospel is talking about growing up ... we don't need laws, we only need to take care (not missing the point = what is really important in everything - Charity including forgiveness for everyone and trying to forget about our Ego).

Remember my mom?

so it has been a bit since i wrote seriously on here and today i had a great reminder of what i am up against.. my mom has deteriorated fast and i really am not looking forward to what i am going to need to do regarding her.

she and i have had a strained relationship if you have read any of my older post you sould see how absolutely ugly i felt about her.

well this month she fell and hurt herself 4 times in a day.

I'm not in hurry to be in this situation ... (one of my sister is ... not in hurry but ready to be there for that) it helps to think that she is willing to do it and think about it way before (we pay she takes care) ... but who knows? she might not be able at that moment for any reason ... and in knowing how old people are treated in some carehouses ... well I guess it'll help me to think about getting involved myself ...

wish you'll find something in doing it that you'll enjoy (who knows?).

I'm with Mouthyconceptually on this one. Why? Because

Why? because since your ego/satan will take too much place you'll gonna eat me (God is in everyone) NO WAY ... Prove me that you wont eat me and you'll get access to real life (that's why he separated his wisdom /Christ) from him he is the tree of life (biblicaly - the one who created life and preserve life but it can only be preserved if we really learn/want to not eat each other)

why not going a bit farest :
Ego : What about being all alone nowhere? Ok you still can think but on what? Creating ... what will you create? you'd better create something which can think otherwise well you're still alone ... and if it can think you can't be the only one to create (even in just having your own opinon) but since you only want to take over everything ... it's all about you and only you and nobody else is happy.

now i'm not going all girly or anything but kissing is still great!

if my wife is, for example, preparing a meal i might be able to kiss her on the side of the neck while she's peeling the potato's.

it's all about the intention that you can feel (before or when you are kissed)
the neck is very sensitive, also just skim the corner of the mouth can be magic, a kiss on a closed eye either ...

The love of your life "cheats" on you....could you forgive?

the old age question............ say, your "soul mate" the love of your life, goes on a trip with some friends.........something happens one night...... they have sex with a stranger( or even a friend)............they come home and tell you what they did............they still love you.. what would you do?...............is the marriage over?

StillaJW : It happened to me , I was devastated. Still not truly over it many years later. We are still together. The wound is still there but it is not an open wound

It's just human ... at least you know it's wrong ... means that when you'r strong enough you can figth against it (you can't when you'r not)
it's cool that you are able to forgive it means that you are working on it (good for you, good for her) Everything takes time even forgiveness.

For some of you who did forgive (like me) do you ever find that when you fight you tend to bring it up and throw it in their face? Sometimes when I get mad that's what I do and I know its wrong, but I am still so hurt by it.

Also no vows (so I don't break anything) as long as he and I are sincere (I don't see any reason to get any paper signed - it's all in the heart) - I mean sure when you make vows you are supposed to stand by it / ortherwise sure it's unfaithfull ... That's why getting married is a real big matter ... you really got to make sure you'll be able to be faithfull but also that you don't ask too much to the other one (is it love then? - I don't know)

being together is not a matter of security - it's a matter of affinity/complicity
