  this morning's news highlight.

  a women lost control of her car and she ended up 50 yards away from the highway.

  she was thrown through the car's back window in a semi-conscious condition.

  Anyone in here(parents) homeschool the kids? What curriculms do you use?

  i just want to know what most of jw(ex or inactive or active) parents use or used for curriculms.

  It fosters independance as well as creativity. Simply put, I think it's a more balanced way to raise children. With my family backround, as well as my experiemce in a high control religion, I fight anything that fells restrictive, that includes homeschooling.

  Becca it all depends on the Parents (as HL explained) !!! they are important in the equation ...

  I guarantee that most people here who see that name think she smokes pot and is proud of it.

  Most people? So what? (so it's all in the nickname?) also is she her daughter? That's where the difference is ... the bad part of going to school is to give everyone the same sens of judgement on most things ... you don't really learn to think by yourself for real in school before 15 if not 18 ... well the difference here is that it seems that they have choosed to let her choose in being there when needed and surrounded in an eclectic way ...

  Do you have to get baptized to be saved?

  1 peter 3:21.

  21that which corresponds to this is also now saving you, namely, baptism, (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the request made to god for a good conscience,) through the resurrection of jesus christ.. the witnesses say that you have to get baptized to be saved, but what will happen to jw children that aren't baptized or jw teens that didn't get baptized yet?.

  The baptisme is spiritual = when you let yourself being absorbeb by the holly spirit (it's a rebirth in the faith - you remain imperfect but you feel way better spiritually - you just listen to the holly spirit - when it tells to your heart HEY HO you are going to far on this well you stop / or please this one or this one need your help - you help ... and if needed he'll give you the strenght / faculty to do it). Nobody but Christ can baptise you ... Christians (those who feel like christ = those who feel for others) in being nice (as much as they can - but they can not everything everybody have their own strenght) gives you the envy to have faith like them, they are the premice which help you to get baptised (the begining of the rebirth) in being absorbed by the holly spirit.

  there is a reason why God said Christ is his posterity (The whole OT is a demonstration of what is a God who treats you like a kid in having a father who uses full power, his Ego and indulgence at the same time but always for a purpose - it does lead to very unfair situations - but it leads you further in the demontrastion) the NT is about what is a God full of wisdom; ego puts appart (Christ) ... Means I'm not supposed who kick sasses, I you want to use free will (fully - later) you are just supposed to grow up and be good with others (to resume)

  Gadget : When you think something is impossible to happen and stop watching for it, thats the most likely time it will happen.

  keep checking (a predator is good at his job and some are quiet bold not only searching for poor souls)

  New Baby Alert!

  well my new son, calvin frank little was born friday january 12th weighing in at a whopping 9lbs.

  he started turning purple at his first breast feeding but quickly recovered his color.

  he did it again that evening and that landed him in icu.
