I have to join Paralipomenon here (globally) but will try to go further on this ...
in first emphasing on what nrgnbk said
That's why dogmatism of any kind is alienating and counterproductive.dog·ma (dôg'm?, dog'-) pronunciation
n., pl. -mas or -ma·ta (-m?-t?).1. A doctrine or a corpus of doctrines relating to matters such as morality and faith, set forth in an authoritative manner by a church.
2. An authoritative principle, belief, or statement of ideas or opinion, especially one considered to be absolutely true. See synonyms at doctrine.
3. A principle or belief or a group of them: “The dogmas of the quiet past are inadequate to the stormy present” (Abraham Lincoln).[Latin, from Greek, opinion, belief, from dokein, to seem, think.]
Now about logic
reality (the one you know) is not logic in itself if you only take in consideration what is reality scienfically for instance (why? because we none of us knows everything about reality - even scientists) that's simple to understand ... Logic is related to reasonning not to what we can prove, it have to include from the individual who wants to be or stay logic, to not deny what he knows to be effective wheter there are proofs or not.
ortherwise the logic is just not logic anymore but a denial ... wanting to be rational at any rate (in thinking that rational is related to what we can explain scienfically is not really rationnal - it's just an effort of denying that there are things that whe can't explain - and that's rational logic if not that's when people in wanting to be rational becomes irationnal ... here are the definition of logic and rational
formal logic
n.The study of the properties of propositions and deductive reasoning by abstraction and analysis of the form rather than the content of propositions under consideration.
if you state that logic is based on reality (the one that you have access to) you refute propositions
ra·tion·al (rash'?-n?l) pronunciation
adj.1. Having or exercising the ability to reason.
2. Of sound mind; sane.
3. Consistent with or based on reason; logical: rational behavior. See synonyms at logical.
4. Mathematics. Capable of being expressed as a quotient of integers.A denial is not sane!!! it's not related to reason ...
So logic and rational is absolutly not realated to what any state as really for being something that you can prove ... but only something that you can't exclude as a proposition in the reasonning from what you know (experienced in fact since what you know is related to your experience).

UNDENIABLE LOGIC. Some cherish it while others dismiss it. Which are you?
by nicolaou inthere are so many ways to get into this topic; homeopathy, astrology, feng shui, alien abductions, seances and so on ad nauseum but let's pick a simple one - mathematics.
do you accept the undeniable logic that 1+1 must always equal 2?.
i cannot conceive of a situation where 1+1=3 but there was a time when i did!

Well since someone can see someone else's precise futur for the very next day in a dream (*) ... well why couldn't any can get what happens somewhere else? (whatever way they know)
(*) I have 2 concrets examples from my own father and he is not the one who is talking about it - it's actually the kind of stories that a Grand mother feel like to tell you when you ask questions about a father that you don't really know about his childwood)
All what you could say is errr : coincidences (but then from where comes the details, the exactitudes?)
Don't get me wrong here ... what I'm saying is that we are different ... with not only different lives/experiences but also different capacities (call it gifts or even curses when actually it doesn't really help or that it scares people or get you annoyed by people who just can't get it).
I find it interesting when I hear some people saying ... this didn't happened to me so why did it happened to you? ... well, well, well ... Why aren't we all suffering from famine since day one and dye after 6 months?

Mother Teresa doubted God's existence during her last years
by Gregor inher personal diarys and letters have revealed she doubted gods reality and this in turn caused her to ask herself "is jesus true?
" she no longer prayed right up until her death.
in my opinion this in no way detracts from her being a wonderful, self sacrificing woman.

Need Your Opinion and Why...
by brunnhilde inbackstory: i just moved out of the house my soon-to-be-ex and i own together.
he's staying until the house sells.
in the meantime, i'm paying half the mortgage and half the utilities.
-

The most important is to sell the house quick at the better price ... everything else is about his privacy (a right) ... and about your part of ownership (still have access to the house and use it if needed meanwhile). Since he didn't say anything like "you don't have the right to get into the house" well I just think that he just don't want some people to meet and maybe in very intimate situation (which is understandable) not sure you want to see that too (not that it would hurt you - but just because well if you can avoid it it's better for everyone) - what if it was the reverse situation?
but I can understand that at first (because of your free for now investement) it sounded a bit out of place to ask you that ... but if you really think about it ... well ... everything is ok.

This is outrageous
by Mincan inhas anyone found that the longer you are away from the witlesses the worse their mindf*** on your mind becomes.. i'm acting in such ways that i never even acted as a dub.
it's like in everyway bad they might affect someone, it becomes exacerbated upon departure.
i never used to be so afraid to try new things, even wholesome things, while i was a dub, no more than usual, now i get paralyzed by fear to do the simplist things, like seeing people or getting my life started.. i'm slowing doing these things anyway, but i'm so shocked at how difficult it is.

When I first left, I was so cynical and feeling like such a cocky smart ass everything seemed within my grasp. Now I ponder ... now I find the difficulty.
since I've left (and been left) quiet young I've been on cynical mode from the begining (= cold blooded = ready to pay full price - for any mistake) but more I grow up and more I pay attention, maybe it's related to maturity ... There are some mistakes or situations I don't want to get into once or more than once or too much.
scare is like pain - they are red light flashs which tell us pay attention of this. Still if we don't know about what it is all about we need to wondering/enquiring/questionning more than if we think that we already know ... anyway its always good to think twice and then it's all about what you want or don't want / can bear or can't bear, but if the goal is valuable well ... why not give it a try even with risks (unless it'll can kill you physically or morally).

thank ex-nj-jw
I'll put all that into "harmony" even trust somehow ...
but you putting communication makes me thinking that the kind of harmony I'm would really want (since we are not in a paradise ... LOL) is more about understanding which can in any case always lead to harmony whatever happens, whatever we differ on ... you know something like that. so finally it's more about deepunderstanding - to be able to skip from a trouble to joy (right then juste because we want it).
