  i have to say that i live in a small town and have been here for half a century, and i couldn't name five people that i know here who are atheist.

  ATJ : I realize that it is easier to believe that someone created everything. It require no thought, no proof. Science tries and tries to show the evidence, and all they get is loud arguements, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

  The very old bible state that GOD is EVERYTHING means Science by itself " IT " is everything

  the fact that most of you comes from the JW with is very inaccurate understanding of the bible is a probleme to understand this (but most religions get into the teaching which doesn't help to understand the concept of GOD.

  S4 : your talk of missing links and the faked fossils is about as outdated as the WTS's old evolution book

  Oh please ... No comment !
  And I guess that you can understand that there are "Theories" and "Theories" means more or less probable as facts ... NO? if you don't I understand why you accept the theory of evolution as a fact.

  i only use this one anymore but i started out with 2.. makes me wonder how many members jwd really has?.

  does anyone else have multiple alias's?.

  Ok My guess? lets say on more than 200 000 something about really around 100 000 suscribers (with 1,2 or 3 and more nicknames some for posting but maybe a lot to take a look at the members directory to know who is who for instance and being able to check all the threads) with something like 5000 monthly regular lurkers but truly around 500 monthly posters and around a 100 to 150 of Monthly of quite regular to regular posters.

  LT : Its for this reason that (A)I think that the "living forever in perfect health on a paradise earth" doctrine is rank materialism that detracts from the whole message of the Bible. (B)The focus should be about whom you love, rather than what you're going to get out of the relationship

  (A) Agreed ... it doesn't help at all

  (B) Which can be viewed as : what we adhere to spiritually talking (related to our state of mind towards others).

  I'm sorry Asheron but if it was that simple scientists wouldn't have any probleme to explain the missing link ... they would have historical material to link one to another ... so I'm sorry no evidence here. only hypothesis

  The reason why Darwin's hypothesis got out of credulity is because 2 jockers geologues if I remember (don't remember there name either and I don't care there names anyway) had build false evidences ... and for more than 50 years nobody reliased (that it was a fake) Means that's for 50 years this theorie of kind of evolution have been accepted because of that (A FAKE) ... but now ... well they don't know what to say ... they just continue on the same line but still with no proof.

  Why do people want to believe with no proof (better forget about what it is all about) cause we can live without knowing ... don't we? But when something become the truth (because some people manage to make it appear like the truth well ... you know where it can lead) at some point you can only say ... I've been stupid to believe ... no you just believed a theorywithout proof.

  My wondering 2 cents.

  one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.

  it's a verse that JW really do not pay attention to ... but it talks

  that's a repeat : From one point (resumed at it maximum) :

  Bible statement God the essence of everything with a spirit began to create at its maturity (by its Christ = maturity).
  Forget about the Genesis account it's a story to make it short and understandable for people back then).
  it's like everything had the potential to exist but just wasn't ready.

  Science statement
  A cell (I call it like that its simple) began to create since it had a chance means somehow at its maturity (ready to).
  But here we have a probleme with missing material (as potentially from one cell) to build everything and moreover when you have to take this in consideration with missing links to lead from a point to another in beetween species.

  What's in RED here means the same actually … (only the spirit is missing)

  Why do I favour the bible statement? (Essence of everything as being God)
  Because if a cell had the particularity to evolve the way scientist think it’s possible, at our stage every cell could have the same hability and creation and evolution of every creation by hasard and interaction would have been way more exponential than what we can see.

  Every therory is interesting ... but not a proof ... even experts do not always agree with each other (so when it comes to use any name to prove anything since there is no proof ... Well )
  
  You can talk about evolution from one point (to make it plausible - it will - but then you still have to deal with missing links)
  but more over when you come back to the start, what makes it weird to accept is the "hasard" means self auto developpement and interaction if that was the case (and you know for instance how in a few years a jungle can appear in your garden if you don't take care of it - and how fast viruses can mutate) if from the start that was the case on everything ... The effect of this kind of developpement would be exponential after billions of years and even millions of years and even thousand of years if not only hundred years - we would have to deal with so much more old stuffs with would have evolved and mutate and new stuffs) ... I mean what we can see is that there is a restriction in evotution/mutation and also a restriction by spiecies (that's where the missing link is the well known argument). There is something very clever which limits the effect of evolution/mutation ... call it what you want ... I call it the spirit of GOD in short GOD.
