  facebook plays a big part in what i'm about to tell since all the players involved are either currently on facebook or were on it when all this unfolded.

  about 2 weeks ago my cousin starts trashing her mother, calling her names and screaming how her mother is a piss poor mother and now she's an orphan.

  come to find out that my aunt (who's an on again off again jw - i think she's currently off) has chosen my cousin's bil over her, has been with said bil for close to a year (yeah there's sex involved - brrr gross, makes me sick just thinking about it) and bil is currently in jail for assault and sexually battery on a minor (said minor may be the daughter of another cousin, the granddaughter of my aunt's oldest sister, who was under my aunt's care).

  i was leafing through a diet and exercisie magazine my wife subscribes to and noticed (not for the first time) that the female fitness models don't look like women at all.

  --they look like anorexic teenaged boys with long hair.. skinny to the point of emaciation is not fit.

  i would be willing to bet that not one of these models could even run a 10k.

  I'm certainly not bothered by the lack of mc license, but we've seen incidents like that become a bigger deal as people pile on for "lack of regard for authority".

  I would really hope that everyone is looked at and handled the same by the NFL.

  It is my opinion that if there are any charges filed he should be suspended.

  We believe in providing basic education for the betterment of the country and I think that basic health care is on the same vein.

  I do worry about the cost of this bill.

  Medicare was projected to cost 10 Billion by 2010 and it cost 120 billion.

  I don't have any faith in any of the predictions of saving on the deficit etc.

  Excuse me, yes Pacman Jones was charged, but not convicted of anything. He did plea to a charge. This is not in defense of Pacman Jones.

  I just think that if certain other players were to have the motorcycle accident without a valid license or permit, and two sexual assult charges - there would be folks calling for his head. I don't see that in this case.

  I'm asking opinions, that is all, as to whether you think his color softens the outcry.

  P.S. - In my opinion Michael Vick should not be on any NFL team. He's allowed to make a living, but not entertaining me.

  Pacman Jones was NEVER charged with a crime, yet was suspended for a year and then more I believe. I'm not defending the actions of Jones, but based on those standards Big Ben has now been accused twice of sexual assult.

  Also he had a motorcycle accident in which he was badly hurt while not having a valid license or permit.

  I have to wonder about this if he's not suspended, well actually, I won't wonder too much.

  What was your initial reaction to finding out the religion is a cult?

  mine was filled with shock and anger but mostly anger.

  it made me feel that way because i have never been lied to like that growing up in the religion with it being all you know.

  Disbelief and fear. Then denial and sadness which became depression, all mixed with fear. My fear was that I would get DF'd somehow and not get my family out. I've since divorced, but glad that I got my family out and without any DF'ing so she is free to have her family as friends still.
