Exactly, if he was in love the way the bible portrays it and being such a man of god, he would've told the concubines to go home and have a monogomous relationship with his true love. Besides, why did he need a beautiful virgin to keep him warm? Why couldn't a man do it? Afterall, he was only trying to get warm, right?

Pentecostal Madness: Panties, Wife swapping, aggression and epylepsy
by Wonderment inthough i have never been a pentecostal, i remember well the frequent stories i heard of this religious movement while going from house-to-house in the past.
i wonder if you guys heard similar stories.
one story i heard a few times was about the confession of some males going to pentecostal churches to peek at girls throwing themselves all over the floor in epileptic movements, and some mention the word "panties" being exposed as an attraction to them.

When I was young and still in the truth (ahem) I had several conversations with a pentecostal man. We got into a heated debate about doctrines, and I swear, the man started foaming at the mouth in anger. That's when I said, "OOOkay"

Deliberately pregnant to get disfellowshipped ...elder father offers 30K for baby!
by koolaid-man inwhat would you do to disconnect from the jehovah's witnesses?
some actually go as far as commiting a wrong to deliberately get disfellowshipped.. the disfellowshipping becomes their "ticket to ride" right out of the organization.
former jehovah's witness carrie was not happy growing up in the so called "truth".

It's kind of hard to know what the numbers really represent. How many who tune in for Rick's program are ex-JWs or even JWs? I think the program is listened to by Christians who like to find fault with others so they can validate their own self righteous attitudes. To Christians, Rick is like a hero, he has a great story to tell on how he managed to exit the devil's lair and become one of them.
Christians nowadays are a hateful bunch. They're nice because they have to and only nice for a while until you choose to disagree. Then you're doomed to hell. I don't think 6screens is accomplishing much to actually help people exit the JWs. Rick will disagree I'm sure and even if he were to provide numbers I wouldn't believe them. Christians are liars when it comes to that sort of stuff. You know, spiritual warfare.

If Jesus were alive today,
by badseed ini wonder what privileges he would receive in the congregation?
would they allow him to voice his opinion or have a say in the decisions made?.
-

Yikes, I'm not sure I want to have to follow his example..lol. See what happens when you leave the truth. Even Jesus can't walk straight.
