  i attended the todays wt study and got notice of the illustration of jesus doing away capitol hill and barack obama.. i think the illustration passed the juridical advisors of the wts, having a blackout!

  of are they trying to reach the anti government people like the tea party idiots with this kind of propaganda illustrations?.

  is this a signal that the wts is anti democrats, anti obama?.

  So essentially Satan's system of things consists of a world of tanks, floating money, Latinos mugging Asians, black presidents, Sam Spade shooting at meteors, strung-out cigarette-smoking gamblers with bimbos, fast cars, dudes walking in Dutched angles, black helicopters, Capitol Hill, the stock market......and NOT MUCH ELSE.

  a federal judge in california has issued an injunction barring enforcement of "don't ask, don't tell," the federal law banning service by open homosexuals in the armed forces.. u.s. district judge virginia phillips of riverside, calif., who on sept. 9 found that the law was unconstitutional, granted the global injunction on tuesday.

  she wrote that without the injunction, "there is no adequate remedy at law to prevent the continued violation of servicemembers' rights or to compensate them for violation of their rights.".

  I've noticed a peculiar human trait lately....

  at the bookstore where i work free coffee has been provided for at least 6 years now.. the customers (and non-customers who just come in and mooch) go through a dozen or so pots a day!.

  our store manager decided we could ill afford to provide both caffeine free and regular coffee because of 2 reasons.. 1.we are always running out of regular and not that many people drink caffeine free.. 2.when we do run out of regular the customers get really pissed off and hunt employees down to complain!.

  i began noticing how easily a gift or a courtesy extended to a person suddenly becomes viewed as a right!.

  Our rights are as Jefferson put it "secured" by the state. In return we give up time/money and even lives for the state to provide a framework in which we and our fellow citizens can prosper. A social contract. What that framework entails, as can be seen by numerous threads on this board, is subject to a lot of debate.

  i was always curious lol.. .

  well, i remeber i had to, wel lhonestly, i didn't listen to music too much when i was younger, just on the radio, and i had no choice ( i didn't have a computer then and i was about 11 at that time) so we got a computwer when i was about 13 (i am currently 15..wow..i make myself sound old lol.

  ) and i remeber i was listemning to 3 6 mafia (a huge mistake) and my mom liked the instrumental.beat of the song, but i was playing it soo loud, she even heard the lyrics, and she told me to switch it to another song..so i did..i switched to cascada's everytime we touch..o_o.. .

  Does the average American get to meet a past/present President?

  just wondering..... i had the opportunity to meet former us president george bush snr (we still had to address him as mr. president) and his wife barbara.

  i was emcamped with their entourage for a week on an australian visit some years ago.

  real eye opener as to the workings of the secret service, i got an invite to the secret service wind up party at a night club the day the bushes left oz, straight out of a movie that night ;-).
