Why Some Jehovah's Witnesses Are Abusive Toward Ex-Witnesses - Part 1

To those who've been DFed...
by IsaacJS2 ini was just wondering if anyone ever tried to find a mature way to defy their supposed authority to judge you this way and what sort of reactions you got.
i haven't been dfed, but it could certainly happen some day.. i'm not planning to meekly put up with the preaching next time witnesses try it on me, which has made me wonder about this.
it seems a bit immature to go right up to them and say "hiya!

i'd have a lot more of them by now if not for the migraines getting in the way of things.
anyway, this is about handling a witness favorite: "the society has gotten us both through the tough times.

Advice Article-What to do when JWs say you should never trust the critics
by IsaacJS2 ini've noticed that this is something witnesses in my area tend to do.
i consider it an excuse not to think about the issues raised by critics.
in any case, when they bug us about about returning to the society we often tend to do the "who you gonna believe?

Is The Watchtower Society Too Controlling of Jehovah's Witnesses?

my computer died like 5 weeks ago and i'm still having problems even after rebuilding it twice.

New article, but more in the "XJW Humor" category
by IsaacJS2 inthis should stay at the top of my front page (throughout the day at least).
i do this thing where i make up fake biographies for myself every monday and come up with ... um ... totally absurd crap, complete with doctored pictures.
i mention it here because i managed to bring up jws in this post.. some might like it.

it's the first article right at the top of the page for anyone that wants it.
i'll probably tweak it a little more, but this one makes suggestions on what to (and not do) when they get all righteous and try to convert you back into their truth.. later on, i'll have more suggested responses that might be of help as well.. isaacj.

I have another XJW advice article if anyone could use it

i tried to explain some of the bizarre behavior and conversations that exxers like us have to go through with wt friends and family.
a lot of us find it hard to stand up to the parents, the elders, and all that, especially because we tend to see them as innocently "doing what they think is right" or "meaning well.
