  1914- What's the big deal if it's the wrong date?

  i hear it a lot on this board that the 607 date is wrong... i figured that out while i was a jw... never really thought much about it though.

  just thought, ok, if it's wrong then everything is moved up about 20 or so years.... and for that matter, why is it such a big deal to the society?

  why can't they just fix the date so it's right.

  I'm just curious why someone who, to quote her best friend "Hypnotic," "was always Mrs. Perfect in the truth. Always sat up front at the hall, always in service, always studing... Just the perfect JW..." wouldn't know why it would be a big deal if 1914 was the wrong date for JWs. I didn't sit in the front, was rarely in service, never studied, and was FAR from the perfect JW, and I know that their entire belief system depends on that date. Then, looking through your topic history your very 2nd thread is asking someone if they went to a certain hall. It's just a red flag, OK.

  As I don't know you, have only commented on a handful of your threads, and don't read this board much anymore, it doesn't matter to me either way.

  Yeah, you'd think that someone who was raised as a Witness, is a regular pioneer, and is married to someone who is striving to be a MS would know the answer to this question. Kind of makes you wonder why cognac has started at least 6 topics where she is looking for people and digging for information, eh?

  The more you ignore the pigsh*t...the harder they push...Kind of like a kid who can't get positive attention,

  so they throw a fit...just to get attention.

  I don't really know your reason for starting this thread or if it has to do w/ something you've read here, but I have had the "priviledge" of getting to know a few posters who are, apparently, well liked on this board. However, knowing them in real life, I can say, they have completely fooled this entire board and it saddens me that no one can see it. I see threads posted all the time where there is a shitload of ass kissing and ego stroking going on. I just want to hit the thread and tell everyone to wake the fuck up! But, knowing the posters in question, I know that my comments will not be taken kindly and so I sit back, siliently, and wait for the shit to unravel.

  Edited to add: Dex, honey, you said some very kind words to get me back on here. I wanted post 1200 to be my last, but due to your words, I gave you post 1201 and came back. I am giving you my 1700th and final, at least for a while, post. I have not been well emotionally for a good 2 months now and my health is being affected. Due to the reasons for my comment above, my healing has become hindered and I need to take the time to concentrate on myself. I'll miss a lot, but can use the break from a few...Kisses!

  since the end of last year i have stopped drinking.........but .....(you knew there would be a but ...didn't you?

  )....tonight.....i have had 3 cans of heavy and a cider.....talk me back to sobriety....ya bunch of bastards........sorry i get annoying on alkyhol

  I have some peach moonshine and medium grade weed in my freezer. I also have plenty of Advil PMs and some cigars that have been shipped to me from my bestest Toronto friends. Everyone BUT ninja is invited!

  Cleaning is on my schedule every weekend, that's just me. I think my plans for this evening just fell through, so I will quite possibly be picking up some sushi at Bonsai, curling up on my sofa, and watching some episodes of 90210, my all time favorite show, on DVD.

  The rest of the weekend will consist of sleepious maximus, a possible workout (depending upon my energy level), lunch w/ my girlfriends, and a few baths.

  Lawrence, believe it or not I will be in Niagra Falls on the 15th w/ Bee. Wanna edit some more of COC w/ me?

  Where is the thread for weeks 7, 8, and 9? I haven't weighed myself this week, but I think it is time to buy a new pair of jeans. I just went to the bathroom and didn't have to unbutton or unzip befor I pulled them down. I hope they don't fall down when I go out tonight.

  OMG WAC, I skipped over this thread a few times, thinking you were going to point out another flip-flop in the magazines. I was on the phone w/ a friend when I finally opened it.   i saw the news item, and was going to pass it on to dad but he beat me to it....someone had already e-mailed him about it.

  his e-mail was from cnn which stated jw's are fastet growing, but also dead last in retaining those raised in that faith....yeah!
