Anyone here collect foreign currency as a hobby?
by AK - Jeff ini would like to begin a collection - but i am not sure the best resources so that i don't get ripped off.
anyone know of a forum that discusses this hobby?
i did a google and the category is so broad i don't know where to start.

Hi,you might know my big sister..
by Firefox inim 19 and im still going to meetings.ive been sort of unhappy for a while.my older sister left the truth about 9 or 10 years ago.my brother was on her heels a couple of years later.ive been told that they were weak,selfish,posessed and drug addicts.i knew this wasnt true,they were both brilliant and caring of me.i havent spoken to them in at least 3 years.alot of gossip still circulates about them,especially sarah.she intimidated everybody and i suppose this is how they feel superior.. im rambling,sorry.im just overwhelmed.i ran into sarah at a walmart and she was radiant.i chatted her ear off for an hour and she hugged me when i cried.i told her i wanted out,that i know something isnt right but i m so scared.she suggested some of teh online groups to help.i guess she went to thomschat but thats not there anymore.she said my struggle would be different than hers because she never believed in the witnesses.i did.any advice or books to read or whatever you suggest,i just want to learn.she said crisis of conscience would probably help.okay thanks..

Sorry I was late to the party. I'm so happy to see sisters (fleshly, not spiritual ) who are thinking for themselves and have each other's support. I hope the best for you both and that my sister will be here one day.

Hi! I've been hit and miss visiting this site, lately and was out of town for a while, so I must have missed where your little sister started posting. How great that you have each other! I miss my baby sister more than anything and, seeing that you are both members here, gives me the hope that she may come around one of these days.

1914- What's the big deal if it's the wrong date?
by cognac ini hear it a lot on this board that the 607 date is wrong... i figured that out while i was a jw... never really thought much about it though.
just thought, ok, if it's wrong then everything is moved up about 20 or so years.... and for that matter, why is it such a big deal to the society?
why can't they just fix the date so it's right.

TD, I completely agree w/ you concerning the fall of Jerusalem. In fact, I didn't know the significance of 587/607, as it relates to 1914, until I joined JWD. However, I did know what 1914 meant and how it relates to JWs being the true religion. Maybe I am skeptical, but hell, the last time I wasn't a "cancer patient" took me for a fool and got money from me for a trip that wasn't even taken.
All I did was ask a question. I am not accusing anyone of anything.
