Whenever they come to my door I don't say anything negative about their beliefs. Sometimes I think I might but then I think about my own jw family members. I don't think they are strong enough to handle the truth about the "truth". Very sad to see how my family is wasting their lives away.

I agree with Bohm if Osama was captured and tried it would have done more harm than good. More innocent people would have died. Then we would have all be standing around asking why didn't we just kill him right when they found him.
I believe they found and killed him. How could this be a conspiracy that works in favor of the democrats? Are you saying Bush knew where he had been all these years? If that were true he would have produced him during the elections to get another Republican in the WH.

JWs who do a "disappearing act" because of damaging gossip and trouble in the hall
by LongHairGal ini know of a few jw friends who from time to time have to do a disappearing act from their hall.
one jw finds a "reason" to leave town to visit relatives and another jw would go to "visit" another hall in a nearby vicinity.
in all honesty, they are fleeing from the strife in the kingdom hall when they are in the spotlight.

I get your point but doesn't the WT teach that they really shouldn't use the term "the truth"? I could be wrong but I don't think they use that term in their publications.

I don't thin Bush lost interest in Osama. Sure he said what he said about him being unimportant but the reality is we cannot know everything going on behind the scenes in government. So I think we do owe some credit to Bush. I'm not a conservative nor a liberal but it bothered me Obama trying to take all the credit for Bin Laden.

I thought the speech was great as well. But I took issue with one statement Obama made.
He said when he got in the white house he made it the #1 priority to capture/kill Osama. Hasn't that been the #1 priority since 911?
Is he trying to take total credit for this to get re-elected? I'm not an Obama hater or supporter. Just a cynic.

While it does strike me as odd that they dumped his body so fast it is hard for me to believe that this is all some conspiracy. Osama dead for years? I find that hard to believe. Not in the the fast information world we live in now.
This story is facinating to me and I cannot wait to hear more details of this operation from beginning to end.

This makes me feel bad for my family. I am grateful that they don't let this dictate the way they treat me but I know it must be hard on them. They must feel guilty at times spending time with me.
