  i am a new stepmom to an 8 year old boy whose mother is a jw pioneer.

  my husband has been disfellowshipped for 2.5 years now.

  i was part of the reason he left the organization for good, although he had stopped believing long before being kicked out.

  I'm hardcore when it comes to protecting children from the Watch Tower cult. There is no compromising when it comes to jws and their distorted world view. So unless you're prepared to tiptoe around the brainwashed mother, your husband must make a stand. Go back to court to get decision making rights for educational and medical issues. Have a guardian ad litem appointed for the child, and cooperate with the counselor who will inevitably be involved. If the system works, your husband will be able to determine whether his child will fit in at school by participating in holiday celebrations, sports, etc., as well as permit life-saving medical treatments that involve blood if the need ever arises. The counselor should be able to help the child with the guilt issues that his mother causes.

  There are attorneys and/or consultants that specialize in jw custody matters. Your stepson's development is of the utmost importance, so it is worth any cost. By the way, since the Watch Tower's policies permit pedophiles to run amok in the congregation, your husband may want to have a serious chat with that poor little kid about the difference between proper and improper touching and assure him that he can trust his dad anything.

  as a born in, one of my earliest thoughts has always been jehovah has an angel that writes down everything in a big book, all the good things that happen to me/others and everything bad that happens to me/others.

  i faithfully and honestly believed that.. in march of this year i read c of c. by 5 am the next morning i was out.

  did a quick fade in the fall of 2009 to start going to university and escape a very unhappy living situation.

  I agree with getting some type of authority involved to get her things. I also think she should sue them in small claims court for the loan and the bank account.

  i`m thoroughly enjoying it ,sigourney weaver is a classic ,loved her in alien , but who didn`t ?.

  history has given us an insight into the frailitys /weaknesses /imperfections of men and women (mostly men) who have led and driven our nations during this past century.. and while political animals maybe fictional, it does give you an insight to the temptations that are their for people in high profile posistions.. and of course we can think of politicians in our time who would fit this catergorital .. smiddy.

  Can Someone Explain "Operation Juicy Steak" Please?

  for the past few years, i've seen references on youtube about "operation juicy steak" but i've been unable to locate any vidoes or blogs where this is explained in any detail.

  The way it was explained to me is that it was a tongue in cheek proposition. Because the jws are so eager for both Armageddon and persecution, the whole concept was set up on YT to get the jws talking about and watching the videos.
