in case you didn't know, these are the minority of the geneal population.
in a random setting you will have only 2 to 5% of n's (infp, infj,enfp,enfj,intp,intj,entp,entj).

New to the board
by KICKED OUT ini am 26 , i was baptised at 12 (way to young to make that choice) df'd at 13, reproved at 16, and then finnally df'd for good at 19. i have been forced to leave behind my family and friends, but other than that have never been happier.
i just found this board and i am very happy i have, it is great councelling, and look forward to many great discussions.

Did U Ever Know Of An Elder That Committed A D'Fing Offense While An Elder?
by minimus ini used to go to strip clubs with another fellow elder when we would go out of town on "business".
i believe those lapdances could've gotten us removed.

My father molested me when he was an elder and i was 10 -12 ish When i eventually told 10yrs later he was still an elder he was "removed" but it was announced as "bro so and so is no longer an elder" and everyone assumed he'd stepped down and commiserated with the family on whata great elder he was and how great it must be to have him as a father.
Never df'd totally stumbled me. Especially as he was supported and i wasn't.

My husband (non jw, never been a jw) went to my nan's funeral with me when we were going out, we'd been to his nan's funeral 3 months before.
he was impressed that the elder giving the talk knew my nan
the funeral of his nan was done by a vicar who had been passed information by his horrid aunts who claimed they'd looked after her in her old age when it was actually him.
but my nan was cremated and the talk was held at the crematorium and that means u only get a 20min slot so they didn't have much time to waffle, so it was half her and half her beliefs.
at least the dubs dont say that god has taken the person who died - so sad when its a child and parents are told that god wanted the kid so took them.

What's the worst injury or sickness you have seen participate at a meeting?
by RULES & REGULATIONS ini once went to a 2 day assembly with 4 wisdom teeth pulled the day before.my gums were bleeding but i stayed at the assembly with gauze inside my mouth and rinsing my mouth every 10 minutes.a brother had major back operation a couple of days before but he made to the assembly laying on a mattress in the back of the hall for 2 days.wow!
we thought we were zealous.now i look back and see how stupid we were.

My JW mom just passed away............
by troubled mind inmy mom died last wednesday.
we buried her monday .
i am a bit numb still , she had been in ill health and i had tried to prepare myself for this day .

Arrogant JWs are seriously irritating!
by Gill inevery so often, i can get seriously irritated with jehovah's witnesses!
especially my daft as a brush parents.. one of my children has just moved in with his girlfriend.
they're a lovely couple, both adults and happy with eachother.

re zimmer frame aka walking frame - an old elder, nice guy, now dead used to get mixed up with words and in a talk spoke about his elderly mum using a climbing frame. i still smile when i imagine and 80yr old on a climbing frame.

A quick question:
by Vinny ini disassociated one year ago.
no meetings, no memorial no nothing since then.
there was one jw young man that talked to me continuously and who also lived right next door, 25 yrs old, a best friend of my step-son, (we all fished on my boat at least a half dozen times together).

I can't get my nose pierced it would just look too wrong, but I got my navel pierced sometime between 23 and 25. I wanted my nose pierced but as I was still associating it wouldn't have gone down too well.
It's not too bad but it can take a LONG time to heal (3-6 mths). Also I didn't realise how much you move your torso! My recommendation is not to do what I did which was to drive there and back. Get driven or walk or use public transport but don't drive. It hurt to change gears and turn on the radio, I listened to the same station for weeks. I suppose if you don't drive stick it wouldn't be so bad.
After the first day or two it was fine, it did get a bit infected but I just had salt baths.

Why is Europe more liberal then the United States?
by free2beme ini have wondered this for awhile and can not figure out why.
any ideas?
apparently being liberal does not lead to an economic power house, but it does lead to a lot of hatred of the united states in these countries.
