im an active jw too. but you know what? i donated the big pile of around 8$ in my LIFE yet! i did it when i was like 13 years old and never again. i always thought i can do it when im older (felt guilty about that often). now im adult and i dont donate either because i learned to many things about the org... i dont wanna help them.
in my case the balance is negative. 8$ for 26 years of magazines, bibles and books. yay.

"die nackten und die reichen" means "the naked and the rich" and the stern magazine has nothing to do with porn. the article in this issue is about rich ppl paying for sex (as i can guess). its completely independent of that "movie".
nevertheless the girl on the stern magazine might be a prostitute or similar.
this would also fit into the paradise book chapter with the topic that wicked angels looked after the human women.
i dont think any lawyers are trying to catch you all. its just a copyrighted picture and someone at the hoster might found and delete it. if the WTS was after you they wouldve deleted the scan of the paradise book instead of the sternmagazine scan... stay cool. -

I don't feel angry or resentful, do you?
by Orgull ini'm new here (my first post yesterday: http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/12/138721/1.ashx) and i've noticed only one thing that i don't have in common with a few people here.. i'm breaking free of my beliefs after more than thirty years and i feel great.
i feel calm, free and in control.. i feel no anger, resentment or hate towards my so-called brothers and sisters or towards the fds or the organization.
i don't see the point, it doesn't help me any.

thats a question i asked myself many times. i believe that i wont be completely "normal" ever. i was raised and doomed to live that life. it makes me angry sometimes. its a feeling like being locked up in a cage.
but i believe i can live a happy life. but the JWs are a part of my life. i have to learn to be happy with it instead of trying to deny it. -

Recurrent nightmare, what does it mean?
by jillbedford ini am having a recurrent and very upsetting nightmare that my husband is murdered.
in one dream, i call the police and am arrested immediately myself.
in another dream, there is blood everywhere.
