  I've made some wonderful friends and I've learned more about the JW's since being here than I ever did while I was in!

  The Little Gentleman

  for the last two weeks my youngest boy joshua has been wearing a dress shirt, pants, and a sportscoat.

  i've tried putting other clothes on him, like a t-shirt and shorts, but he always changes out of them for the dress shirt and pants.

  it is so cute and he knows it.

  AAAWWW, he's so cute!!

  My boys always hated suit, tie and dress shirts. They never had to wear them as we don't go to church, so whenever they did put them on, they were constantly pulling at the tie, shirt tale hanging out!

  I had no idea there were people who felt like me

  i've recently begun challenging my beliefs.

  all my beliefs, including those ingrained in me as one raised "in the truth".. a few years ago i sought therapy for chronic depression and my treatment was remarkably successful.

  as a side effect, things that used to "work" for me no longer fit with the new emotional pathways and strengths i was developing.

  Gratitude for shunning?

  we have all seen the negatine aspects of the jw's shunning da/df people.

  i have experienced the hardship emotionally of being cut off from friends and family that are still in the organization.

  i do not minimize how much this hurts.. but .

  My theory is - they obviously was never really my friends and if family can cut you off because a book publishing company says so, then to hell with them too!

  R.F'S MUM JUST HAD EMERGENCY SURGERY

  i just spoke to r.f.

  he told me his mum was rushed to hospital early yesterday morning in a great deal of pain.

  she subsequently had emergency surgery and is now in intensive care.

  Welcome to JWD littledream,

  All we are saying is that if you want to have a million kids that's on you. But regardless as to whether or not you have 1 child or 12 children, YOU as PARENTS should be the ones taking financial responsibility for them. If you can't afford to take care of them and provide for them, don't have them. Or only have what you can provide for.
