I went. I had to sneak but I did it, got caught and also got the beating of my life. But I had a great time, my older brother, he was df'd at the time asked my mother if I could come over because his wife was pregnant and needed some help, he told them he had to work.

So he and his wife helped me get my dress and shoes, my sister in law did my hair and my date non-jw of course picked me up at big bro's house in his dad's Jag He brought me back to my brothers house and mom and dad found out the next morning. A Jdub boy, saw us at Red Lobster eating, promptly went home and told his elder dad, he called my elder dad and I could barely get home before he got the phone call.

It was worth it!

Mr. Flipper witnesses to Elder in Front of Store on Child Abuse Settlements

hello folks .

as other posters have mentioned , i feel , too , that this is something that needs to be kept in the forefront of practicing jehovah's witnesses minds , as they will never hear about these settlements from their elders or governing body.

so , you folks know me well enough that i don't have a shy bone in my body , and if i see an opportunity i will take it.

Hey Mr. Flipper,

I think it's typical of Jdub's to try damage control and possibly he was embarrassed that someone was telling him something about his religion he didn't know.

I have a JW friend when I brought up the topic with him he also said oh, that's from the internet it's not true. He also gave me the there are people in the org that shouldn't be here but Jehovah will clean his organization out with time. To this I responded, when after more children are molested and abused. I guess your god doesn't care about children huh?

i would like to say hello and introduce myself.

i have read this forum for a while, didnt know that it existed till some one showed me it, (fellow rebel) about a year ago.

now the only way that i will get help is to go into it, something i really dont wish to do but know that i have to.

Mr. Majestic welcome to JWD and it doesn't matter how you introduce yourself, it only matters that you did!

I'm sorry for all the trauma in your life. Have you by any chance looked into counseling? Therapy? I think that is the route you need to go for starters. If you work, does your employer provide Assistance, here it's called Employee Assistance and it's a wonderful resource.

If you are feeling like ending you life please call a crises hotline in your area, they will even talk to you if you just need someone to vent to and can direct you to more intensive help/care/therapy.

Please continue to post here, vent share you feelings. There is always someone here to lend a listening ear and offer advise and support. I'm sure others will be along shortly to add their input. Hang in there, things will get better. You have to be patient and be willing to work through it. I know i've wished many times that there was a magic pill to make everything better. JWD has lots of sympathetic and empathetic ears (eyes) and we will try to help where and when we can.
