Jehovah? God? No such animal as far as I'm concerned. As a kid my life sucked, as an adult I've made things happen, good and bad, but God has/had nothing to do with it. There is no way I can ever believe there is a God when there are so many good people asking for his help and he totally ingnores them.
If there is a God, He/She/It can kiss my A$$

dear friends,.
much of what we do on a daily basis is routine and of no particular, earth-shaking importance.
however, after reviewing letters of family going back to wwii, it is fascinating to read what dad was doing on board the aircraft carrier in the pacific on any old day, what mom was cooking on her ever-steaming range, how i was dealing with the roller coaster of emotion at bethel [mom saved all my letters], how nana wrote that she would not study with the witnesses [per my request] but 'here are some mittens i knitted for you when you canvass new york with your magazines.

my 85 year old aunt, who has worked every day up until 2 weeks ago is very ill. she has been losing weight for about 6 months, (without trying) but for the past month it has really accelerated.
my cousin finally got her to go to the doctor , and there will be lots of tests to find the cause.
she had lung cancer 12 years ago and has had a clean bill of health ever since... until now.

Can you guys get her into hospice or home health care? Hospice will usually only take a patient if they are at "end of life", they provide comfort care to the patient which allows them to remain at home. It doesn't sound like your aunt is at this point yet but it may not be a bad idea to at least get a consult and maybe they can direct your family to some other services. At the least she will already be in the system when it is needed. In our area we have an organization called Senior Connection, they are very good at assessing a patients needs and providing assistance in obtaining services. See if you have something like that in your area.
I'm sorry you and your family are having to deal with all of this and my thoughts go out to you. Take care of yourself and keep us posted. Does allergy medication help with you cat allergy? I have a really bad reaction to cat's myself but if I take medication before going around them I can usually do ok for a couple of hours.

yesterday afternoon i took my daughter to a beauty school to get her first perm.
she has been wanting one for a while and i've been resistant until just recently after taking her to a school ice skating party and viewing her classmates...it was time to do this.
i watched her sit in that chair the whole time, watching her go through the process, she enjoyed the whole thing.
She looks a lot like you mrs. jones! Can't wait to see her after pic, is she all excited about the new "doo"?
