  Was that the episode that showed the earth being hit and a huge chunk flew off and made the moon...?

  Yup, that was the one. They were just throwing out some theories of how the moon came about and this was one theory.

  Wow, I forgot all about this thread I got into the program and logged off. This is the first time I've seen this particular one, but I love the History Channel.

  I find it amazing what we are able to find out about other planets and galaxies.

  i've been going out with this girl for 9 months.

  so far, our relationship has worked so well, except for the past few weeks.

  i've seen a lot of personality flaws.

  She constantly calls me cheap because I prefer to buy prepackaged burritos and carry tea bags with me when we go out rather than buying food from restaurants

  I'd call you cheap too. Why go out just stay at home.

  As for all the other complaints you need to end this relationship.

  The Blood Situation and you (ex-JWs, DAd, DFd and Faders)

  i am curious how people that still have most family in the jw religion or spouses deal with the blood situation?

  this was not something i had thought about for many years, as i was married and with the same man for over eight years.

  however, being divorced now, all my immediate family is still in the religion.

  My husband and my children are not dubs so I don't have to worry about jw family stepping in. But my non jdub husband is very apologetic regarding JW's and sometimes he says things that make me go WHAT? So just in case my kids know that I DO want blood and my physician also knows.

  I've told hubby that if he ever needed blood, he'd get it and i don't really care if he want's it or not! Now that the kids are grown maybe I should rethink that?

  My oldest son has me as his contact person for emergencies so his grandparents won't have the say so. I think we are all covered!

  I worry about my kids. That they will stay happy, healthy and out of trouble. That they will always be aware of what goes on around them and not get peer pressured into doing anything that will cause them to go to jail or kill them That they will make good decisions and one day have children of their own so they know what it's like to worry constantly

  Are You Content Within Yourself?

  leaving the borg of jehovah presents a somewhat lonely existence for many of us fallen angels.

  for a time we may seek to find an entirely new body-associate.

  many may find that after so many years in a controlled environment like the watchtower that they have a hard time finding a large group of friends again.

  Hey Jeff,

  I agree. I have 2 very close friends and a host of acquaintences (sp?) but for the most part I'm alone the majority of the time. My closest friends live in other states, but I find that I enjoy being with me. I like "me" very much and sometimes I'm the only one that understands "me".

  So I don't feel the need to always be with someone, my alone time for the most part is the best times for me.

  Here's to finding oneself and enjoying it
