  my guesses for releases this year will be an update creation book and a book on jeremiah.

  two books were released as recently as 2008 so i don't think this would be out of the question.. friday.

  Audio Drama “Do Not Give Out When Corrected by Jehovah”

  control. Think about it...no more long, time consuming rehearsals on the weekends... everyone gets to listen to the prerecorded program. No local twists (actual fire coming out of the altar, for example).....

  edited to add...I see this is in addition to the regular drama on Sunday afternoon.... remember when there used to be more than one full costume drama?

  ...sounds like a good excuse to sleep/wonder around...

  yep...I noticed. JW mom is mum about most things dub. nope, dont care.

  Dub at door: "Hi, my name is Sillie Stupid and this is my friend Wacky Witless. We are in the neighborhood wondering around at random hiding these pieces of paper under doormats and leaves at doors that are obviously never used inviting you to a pointless annual ritual. We were hoping no one would be home so we could just slip it under the doormat so you wouldnt find it until July. Here is your copy.... gotta run."

  Finally got my memorial invitation

  i had a message left on my cell phone letting me know about the memorial on tuesday night.

  it was some local elder whom i've never met.

  i can only guess that he got my cell number from my oldest brother.. i found it rather condescending the way he actually described to me what the memorial was, as if i'd never attended one before.

  I found one lying on the ground in the leaves at a house of one of my customer's. I am a bill collector, which do people hate to see more, JW's or bill collector cutting off their cable? I can tell you who gets more open doors...me. Invite is sitting on my desk, I want to show my non-JW fiancee what one of these wastes of paper looks like in case someone gives her one.

  I personally have not received one. My JW mom asked and answered her own question when she talked to me on the phone. "I guess you aren't going to the Memorial this year." Very good.

  Someone told me that both congos that meet in the KH in this town are meeting at the assembly hall in st. louis this year. That is dumb... I can see one of them going....9pm is pretty late for a meeting to start...and the AH is only 20 minutes away... unique opportunity for local yokels...might see some partakin'.... but how many "interested" people (aka, those who were guilted into going by JW relatives) are going to travel out of town for this?

  No one has come to my house... good...stay away. I seen a bunch of dubs in field circus the other day...stop in the local QT (convience store/gas station) getting coffee... a few spoke... one hypocrite said he would like to see me at the meetings...and wants to call me (didnt give him my number...the house phone is listed)..but none invited me to their Waste of Time Reject Jesus Party. Word must have gotten out about me...

  ...that or they seen me buying lottery tickets....

  Once a cheater, always a cheater

  if you discover, while getting to know a potential partner, that they have cheated on a previous partner........ don't touch them.

  run run run.. in my opinion a cheat remains a cheat.

  I think that blanket statement is bullshit. Sorry, I am not editing that one.

  I will say this...if I cheated on my fiancee or she on me, it would likely be over...no second chances... and neither of us will do it. We love each other too much to risk our future together.

  I have never been married. For two decades I had a friendship with a married JW and her JW MS husband. Her husband treated her like crap behind closed doors but was the life of the party at the KH. She started leaning on me for emotional support. I never ever encouraged her to leave him or have an affair. I always encouraged her to talk it out with him instead of me. With his knowledge and permission, we went out to lunch together in public, seperate cars; he was always welcome to come, but usually didnt. Sadly, when he was along, she shut down. Without him there, she was the same bubbly gal I have always known since she was a teen. I believe, as does she, that he cheated on her...but without proof, she is stuck as a JW to stay with him.

  I also know that if we hadnt been careful there would have been an affair. She is very pretty. We talked about that danger...she wasnt having her sexual needs met.... and of course, I wasnt getting anything because I was a good little dubby elder. They had both been my friends when they were teens long before they dated. What we did was not an affair in the usual sense...but it may as well have been...it was an emotional affair. And just as wrong. Too bad she wasnt getting that support from her hubby.... I hope that she is being treated right now. Havent heard from them in many months now...nearly a year....

  I have a great life now with my beautiful non JW fiancee... and I never would have had that if I hadnt left that JW life behind.

  havent figured out this helps me or especially my fiancee... we want to get married but if we do she loses her Medicaid..... she works full time...but her health insurance at work (which for the 3 of us..if we were married...would be $400/month)..... doesnt cover her preexisting condition (type 2 diabetes) for the first year.... so what good is it? Her 9YO is covered no matter in our state until age 9 based on our joint incomes at a subsidized rate.

  I pay $195 (which went up $25 this month), with a $3,000 annual deductible... for myself only. The only real benefit I get is I get contracted rates and the insurance company knocks off the BS charges (ie, two charges for my initial exam... one for new patient exam and one for male age 40-45 exam....Aetna knocked the second one off and knocked the whole bill down from $500 to $122).

  My dental plan pays very little because a) I dont use a plan doctor and b) it just pays little anyway. My dentist does not accept reduced insurance payments... she takes what they give her and bills me the rest.

  I have started using the local community college's nurse managed clinic... $35 flat per visit... they can prescribe scrips... and lab work I go through econolabs.com.... pick the prescribed labs off the list, pay the charge with my visa...and get an invoice to take to a local national lab provider.... they take the samples.......and ship it off to their national lab......I got a CBC and another lab test for $43. They emailed me a PDF of the results in less than 24 hours.... and emailed or faxed copies to my doc and the clinic. GREAT service. I buy generics if I have to have prescriptions filled whenever possible... good thing I am in relative good health.

  My fiancee hates being on medicaid... she feels badly for using it.... and the Medicaid docs generally give minimal care.... her dentist will pull an infected dead tooth but medicaid does not pay for bridges, braces, or implants... considered cosmetic. She is going to my dentist and will make payments for the uncovered work she needs (not wants...needs) done.

  I dont think we need health insurance....we need health care.... Everyone should pay something into the system....and a basic level of care should be guaranteed.... this 3,000 page bill is only the first step...we are a long way from fixing this system.... I would gladly pay higher taxes if we were fully covered for preexisting and future conditions.

  there is a video that went viral and hit #7 on time magazine's top viral videos of 2009. as of this post, it had hit 8.1 million plus views since it was posted july 6, 2009.. it is a country music style song parody of united airlines treatment of his expensive taylor guitar.

  he has since done the other 2 videos in the trilogy.

  i don't usually like country music, but i liked ths.. this little incident cost united $180 million dollars in the value of its stock in 4 days.... http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/comment/columnists/chris_ayres/article6722407.ece i have not checked the veracity of that particular claim, but if true...damn.. united breaks guitars (posted 7/6/2009 -- 8.1 millions views as of 3/18/2010).

  I love to cook... though I dont consider crock pot (slow cooker) really cooking... I made pork tenderloin in the cooker...Thursday....... onion soup mix, chopped up a whole onion, red wine, little soy sauce, little minced garlic...chopped mushrooms.... smelled good in the house... 5 hours later...mmmmmm...

  wish I had more time to cook....
