  Borg Cost cutting measures...can you think of others?

  i was reflecting on the other thread (http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/11/135961/2.ashx) about the new koolaid watchtower....and thinking about this being more of an overall cost cutting measure than any kind of old light repackaged as special lite.......can you think of any other examples?

  a few examples: no more subscriptions (no more yellow envelopes, no more yellow, blue, green, pink forms).

  no more postages sending individual magazines.. kingdom ministry now sent in same box as magazines rather than separate roll of kms to po house.

  so the post from firenbandits http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/134960/1.ashx and the subsequent story reply had me thinking this would be a fun thread.. to start, i've copied a couple of the replies that were on that thread that had me dying laughing....and then one of my own.

  what's the greatest prank you pulled or you seen pulled on someone (or pulled on you?)...

  morning all..... so i was replying on another thread to ninja about his big brother addiction (i am assuming the tv show) and that got me to thinking about the tv show "survivor".. that show, to me, is so much like congregation politics it is not funny.

  here is condensed version of the conversation i once had at the kh before a meeting with the po of one congo i was in:.

  Elder Handbook On EBay....is it a trap?

  hi ya folks... in replying to a post from a new poster (http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/12/135008/1.ashx), i was trying to find a link to the elders handbook online to help him see how stupid jw rules are before he thinks of getting baptized.

  in searching online, i ran across this on ebay for the elders handbook "pay attention to yourselves and all the flock".

  before i left as an elder, i had the opportunity to purloin a copy before i left, but did not do it...rats.....i would have turned my copy in when i was removed but kept another copy of a former elder that was in the files....wish i had done it.

  personally, i still would not accept blood transfusions, but not because of some borg mind control.
