"The Streets Is Hard, they don't understand that innit"
by needproof inso i was (attempting) to work on my car the other day when a few 17,18 or 19 year old white kids walked past.
now we have come to call this group of kids 'the gangster boys', 'street rats' and of course, 'chav brigade'.
i don't know what it is like in other places in the world, but here in the uk, gangster boys are breeding at alarming rates.

Should Britain Build a £100m Mosque for the Olympics?
by LittleToe ina poll is being taken by the british newspaper "the evening standard" as to whether or not britain should invest 100m in a new mosque for the olympics.
i have to admit i'm a little confused as to why folks would desire to have their tax money invested in paying for a religious building, given that religions are already tax free.
i don't see a similar offfer to build a new cathedral, synagogue or hindu temple, nor would i want to.

Thank you for clearing that one up Merry, these things have a nasty habit of getting out of control. The trouble is, not as many people who read the first lie will read the other story exposing the lie. People have trouble connecting the dots, vicious rumors spiral out of control.

So I was (attempting) to work on my car the other day when a few 17,18 or 19 year old white kids walked past. Now we have come to call this group of kids 'the gangster boys', 'street rats' and of course, 'Chav brigade'.
I don't know what it is like in other places in the world, but here in the UK, Gangster boys are breeding at alarming rates. These are your once well spoken kids of middle class families, who have discovered 'artists' such as 50 Cent etc and try their damned hardest to emulate them. I find it all very embarrassing. As they passed, I heard them mutter something about their appearance in court, and one piped up "But the streets is hard, you don't understand that innit".
I had to chuckle. I looked around and thought 'streets....is....hard...mmm'. Let me make it clear I dont live in no ghetto. It's a predominantly white neighbourhood which is pretty safe and well looked after. It's no Harlem, or someplace in Iraq for God's sake. I think these kids are really falling for this whole 'thug life' commercialism. I know where the streets are hard, for instance, gangland USA or the City of God Rio, but in a relatively pleasant neighbourhood like mine?
The thing is, I have seen these kids grow from innocent little bleeders whose crimes included hitting the ball too hard so it came over your fence, and all of a sudden, the whole MTV hip-hop lets love black people because they are so cool regime took over. It's ever so sad. I am not saying that in any way against blacks at all, it is not their fault that gullible well spoken white youth suddenly decide that they are in this 'struggle' as well. I happen to like a lot of hip hop myself; but I think some of these kids just take it a little too far!
That's my rant for today, thanks for reading

I'd like to thank you all for your suggestions. Sorry I did not get back here earlier but I am pleased to say the problem is now solved, thank you all very much.
What happened was the CMOS was corrupt, so I had to clear it - after that it worked a treat.
Funny things, aren't they?

Built 2002, has a long history of health problems, AMD 1800+ custom built but now getting on in years. It just doesn't like being introduced to new people.

Hi, yes, I did check that beforehand, and have tried with every other setting also.
That said, I think that article was the funniest thing I have ever read! How ridiculous is that!
