  can i please state that i hate absolutley no one on this board.

  i can mend from a broken bone much easier than from a broken sprit.. they say "actions speak louder than words", but we are trapped in cyber space where all we have are words.. so if our words are cruel, we have no body language or eye contact to soften the blows.. i do appreciate some concialiatory gestures i've seen around here.

  they will go a long way to keeping this board friendly and "safe" for all of us.. here is a "jewel" favorite of mine:.

  Stick and stones was all it was. Our oppinion differed. Our take on what was said was different.

  As I've already stated, I absolutley could not hate any of my fellow survivors. You must not ever let any one hurt or damage your spirit again, we've all had enough; but here is where the healing comes in.

  I don't know whether this is a saying in USA, but in England we say; 'grow some' ( I acknowledge a little bit crude', but in the last couple of years its got me through)

  Young Couples and not having kids

  there are so many young couples in the org.

  locally that i have noticed do not want to have kids until the "new order".

  that's so freakin annoying that i feel like going up to all of them and smacking them upside the head and lettiing them know the whole truth about the "truth".

  Can I please state that I HATE absolutley no one on this board. I would appear that me having a different opinion in certain things, has lead certain people to think I hate them.

  This is absolutley not true. We are all Survivors! making our way, and begining, in some cases to express ourselves truthfullyfor the first time in our lives.

  This development of self is vital in our recovery from the oppresion that we have experienced.

  So for that reason I hate no-one that I may have a difference of opinion with. Rather at least we should be allowing eachother to express what we think and feel.

  i'll make the start: after years of fading, my believing wife stopped attending the meetings also and i no longer have to be careful about what i'm talking about when hanging around with the rest of my jw friends.

  for me this is quite an achievement and i'm happy with it.. .

  About "dawg" and growth...

  i only checked in here briefley yesterday and missed dawg's "good-by" thread.

  i posted there just now, but don't know if he is checking in any longer.. many of you realize he and i have had our differences.

  in fact, is was after a "cyber-fight" with me that he left the last time.. when he returned, he pm'd me several times just making nice, brief little comments on things i'd post.

  I can agree, that 'sometimes its by being told what others think, then its our responsability to decide who's we choose to take in and hear from'

  Can you under stand that I find it insulting to the intellignece of already bashed up human beings for any of us on this board to claim any kind of credit for adjusting theyre way of thinking?

  If a person here chooses to take on board anothers opinion, is it not a private and personal matter. Lets not demeen people anymore than we have already been by publicly advertising the fact that the person has changed and its down to so and so, and so and so's input.

  None of us here is any wiser than the next man.

  over the past few days... someone who i'm no longer associated with has been out on vendetta to discredit me.

  it started with a mass mail to my myspace friends, which caused nothing more than a few eyebrows to be raised.

  that was the reaction of people who know me in real life.

  you don't know who this 'shell person is'? thats fine sweetie, I have no intention of making any further explanation to you or any one else for my opinion.

  I consider that I have already recieved enough support over this subject to consider your feeble attempts at insult to mean nothing to me. As has already been rasied... the issue of silly imature posts from obviously insecure people, such as... am i a bimbo, should I have a tattoo etc etc.

  As you acknowledged yourself at the end of your post.... I made my point.
